This unit came with a broken wheel not a real big, least of the issues. First the window vent will never fit a window, I had to cut a piece of wood to get it to fit. ( will not fit in an Anderson window) Vent pipe will not stay together, used alot of foil tape to hold it all together. Last cools like a 5$ fan. A 99$ window unit from Walmart works better.

Had to finally return machine, because after using up part of its cold air to cool itself, was inadequate to cool my room. To replace it, ordered a Whynter TWO HOSE portable AC. Does the job well. You get what you pay for. Major kudos to Amazon's customer service for getting original vendor to return my money.

Not worth the money, or the long shipping time I waited over 2 weeks for mine. When put on ac mode it blows cold air for awhile then will start switching back and fourth from cold to hot air, almost as if switching to fan mode on its own instead of staying on ac, and I havnt tried to go below 73 just cause the entire unit gets hot itself..... so it's a little worrisome. What I've been doing, when it's on ac mode and starts blowing hot air I just change the mode to fan mode to let the unit cool down, and then switch back to the ac..... but it's almost useless since I need the ac in Florida not the fan lol, it's so hot, I've been so heat exhausted and so sweaty even as I type this lol and this thing is not doing the job and this was a big Purchase for me. Guess it's better than nothing. But buyer beware.

It sure does not cool the space that its advertised to cool...Maybe in addition to a AC unit but not to use as a AC alone..I tried to return the unit and was told I can not so be ware when you spend 300.00 you may be out 300.00 and still have a very warm room that needs a AC unit...

I bought this in 2018 to cool my garage, and it worked OK, making the room habitable. Turned it on next year, and it wouldn't cool at all. I'm guessing the Freon all leaked out. Unacceptable, as these units are factory sealed and should never leak. Another problem is these one duct units take room air, pass it thru the cooler, then send it out the exhaust, creating a low pressure in the room. This low pressure pulls cooled air from another room, or hot outside air thru a door or crack somewhere in the house. Also, the exhaust duct gets hot, and this has to be cooled, further lowering the efficiency of the unit. I'll be looking at a 2 duct unit which should be much more efficient.

I bought this for a room to have air conditioner and it dont even cool the room

I was hesitant in buying this. I should of went with my gut feeling. Its a good height for my room. Easy to assemble dont need AC conditioner Technician. Cools down room but it leaks water so if you don't want water damage DON'T BUY IT! Also I had to put tape around the hose so it ca, stay. I put towels around the unit so it can absorb the water. I contact the seller to return it and get a refund NEVER AGAIN I WILL BUY FROM A THIRD PARTY. Its so hard to get a refund back waste of my money for a piece of junk. Not cheap either Update this was a reused model the drain outlet came broken

I live in a small motorhome and my ac unit burned out. I replaced it with this ac unit. Its not too noisy which is the only good point to this product. Unless you are within 2 to 3 feet in front of the direct air flow you can't feel any coolness from the unit. I used a digital thermometer to test the unit. It cool great in the distance I mentioned but just 3 to 4 feet from the unit even in direct air flow it is up to 20 degrees warmer. I have had issues with other Costway products and this is no different. Sorry, but I can't recommend this product or any other from this company. Also, getting in touch with anyone for customer support is non-existent apparently for I haven't been able to contact anyone and get no responses from email.

I think it does an ok job cooling the room but I wouldn’t really know. It creates and collects an absurd amount of water that completely fills its reservoir in under just an hour of use. Once the tank is filled the unit becomes useless and will not perform any of its functions (even just the fan) until it is emptied. To make it EVEN WORSE when it is full it beeps tens times every 5 minutes until it is emptied even if you turn it off. It is currently 3 a.m. and I am laying awake in bed sweating and listening to it obnoxiously beep over and over again and not being able to use the AC that I paid $275 for.
