I’m not sure if I received this unit broken but it doesn’t really get cold at all. Sometimes I feel “cool” air but on really hot days it really doesn’t feel much different then a fan. Again I’m not sure if all portable ac units are like this since this is my first but I would not buy this again. If

Doesn't really get that cold and the reservoir is extremely small. If you run on the dehumidifier setting, it gets full in 30 minutes. My room at was 60% RH. Update 8/21/2020 Compressor no longer starts after a little over 1 year of use (not used during winter).

Described as covering a 400sqft area, but only covers a 150sqft room. Window panel fits a 36 inch window minimum, which is much larger than my windows - had to cut the panel. Also, does not have a power saving mode to allowed for intermittent cooling. Overall, does the job cooling a 150 sqft room, and the ventilation tube is good quality.

It puts cold air out the front and hot air out the back. The exhaust hose to the window is made out of some flimsy plastic that allows an excessive amount of heat to escape. In front of the AC feels fine, behind it, its about 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the room. I have another by a different company and there is no heat behind the AC.

Wish we didn’t got with this brand. The unit only lasted 1.5 summers. The cooling function feeds out warm/hot air now. When it was working properly, the room didn’t feel exceptionally cold just tolerable. Our older window a/c units are still working and cooling adequately for 10+ years.

I received a defective unit. I am trying to get a refund after returning the item to COSTWAY. They want me to drop my refund claim before they will start the process for refund. This after offering me $120 to get the unit fixed by local repair center. I could not find anyone to work on this unit. - issues are being reviewed under the A-Z warranty by Amazon. After 3 weeks I did obtain a full refund. Thank you Amazon A to Z guarantee and Costway for completing my refund.

Worked great for a month or so. It constantly gets full within an hour, and it’s hard for an older person to lift and drain it. The water comes out by the wheel. Waste of good money! Wish I’d just bought a window AC, I have two of those with no issues ever! Very disappointed with this product.

I received this item and I don't feel coolness air comes through it also the second day didn't work. I asked the company for refund but they offered me 150 credit for repair I didnt accept because the item was already malfunctioned when I received it. I requested for a refund from amazon.

We use the product to try and cool off our living room in our one bedroom apartment. It doesn’t work very well and doesn’t cool down the apartment as much as the info and reviews stated it would. The air coming out of the machine is cold, not super cold, but you can really only feel it when standing directly in front of the machine. We have a separate fan on as well in the living room to try and supplement the air conditioner and help cool the room but it still doesn’t help much. We are disappointed with this product and how much money we spent on it.

**Updated** So disappointed with this. Worked amazingly for a month and stopped out of nowhere. Now the cooling feature won't kick in so it's just a fan. It's stopped collecting condensation as well. We were having to to drain it once a day and then it just stopped. I contacted the seller, hopefully they will make it right but I'm not holding out on that. Well, I was wrong, they were really helpful and fully refunded me. I added a star for great customer service but unfortunately there was clearly something wrong with the product itself.
