First off this arrived two weeks late. Second it’s noisy. Third it doesn’t fit. I read the description of it being adjustable. Little did I know it’s only adjustable vertically and not horizontally. Not only that but the window seal plates are two different sizes. The top window plate fits inside the bottom window plate so the top one is smaller and leaves gaps. It doesn’t seal at all.

I bought this because I had an older A/C (9000 btu) for my master bedroom. It did the job and I gave it away. So replacing it with this is a slight upgrade. PRO: Basic unit with the best cost. It Cools the room and you turn it any way you like the cold breeze to hit. If you don’t mind cutting it can work on most windows. CON: Does not have an auto mode, sleep mode is still loud, and if you have larger window sill then there’s a big gap (see image). I would have it a higher score but without auto mode and it won’t work on all windows. After reaching out to the company my response was go find an adaptor yourself. Not the best customer support.

They tip forward to easy! Not very comfortable

It works fine, but I hate how little water it can hold before shutting off due to being “full”. I had to use a pump to lift the water up into a larger reservoir (the pump is because the drain for this thing is all the way at the bottom of the unit, so if you don’t have a nearby drain (or in my case, a homemade mini sump pump with a nearby 4 gallon bucket), your only option is to lift this thing up and carry it to someplace where you can drain it. I’d be much happier with this unit if it had a removable reservoir, because I had to empty the damn thing literally every 20-30 minutes. The tube is nice, but the window piece kinda needs a lot of tape to prevent bugs from coming in (this thing runs almost 24/7, so I’m not worried about them crawling up the tube)

Instructions to install were extremely poor you cannot call the company to talk to them you have to send them an email. would not recommend them to anyone but the unit so far, for two days, anyway is working great. Had to cut what they call the Seal plate because it was too wide could’ve taken 15 minutes to install but had a wait for the email 48 hours. I cut it anyway with a Skil saw which they never advised they just said cut it with a saw, but no insulation padding to cover the gaps from the window in the seal plate. No instructions on how to place it in the window and when I put it in my window it’s sunk down to where I couldn’t even install the exhaust pipe. But anyway I was innovative enough to reconstruct the whole exterior exhaust to make it fit my window it’s not a standard fits all. don’t forget that!!

So this item did not work as mentioned. Did not cool small room. It's fan worked better. The AC component makes a ruckus. Way noisier than explained. Grab a medium pot put some coins on it and shake the Shakira out of it and that's how noisily annoying it is. Waiting on a return from the seller...dragging .
