The device will not run all night. I have not found a way to keep it running. When it kicks on and off it wakes you up because it’s noisy. Also if you accidentally said it to dehumidifier you will have to get up several times in the middle of the night to empty the water. A very average device. I should’ve paid a little more money to get something with better performance.

Works great when the hose stays in the correct spot, but seems to fall out even at the slightest of touch. Came home to my house being 81 because of the hose falling out and the back of the ac was blowing out all the hot hair.

Does a good job cooling down the apartment, however we have had an issue. It’s very hard to install the tubes onto the AC unit and to the window panel; they are insecure and get knocked out with a slight touch sometimes. The tubes are very difficult to install back on. It’s also noisier that we would like.

This device has a giant exhaust tube you have to have connected and running out a window to operate. The pictures are misleading as I was under the impression it could just be plugged in any room in the house to cool things down. That is simply not the case here.

Unit is stupid loud

The unit cools nicely, but doesn’t have a thermostat to regulate the room temperature. It cools the room to whatever temperature you want, but won’t kick back on when the room warms back up. So you have to manually turn it on again. Not that great for sleeping when you have to keep turning it back on.

I have a small room 10x8’. I wanted it air conditioned, but the window was too small for a window unit. Purchased this a/c unit because the exhaust doesn’t require a medium to large window. Easy to operate Works pretty well The exhaust hose from unit to the window is a nightmare. The hose connection from the unit to window connection constantly comes off. Anytime you move or roll the floor unit, the exhaust hose will either disconnect from the until to the window or window to floor unit. The only way that I could fix this was use lots of duct tape!

My sliding apt window is 33" in height, so I purchased this AC unit because it stated online that it can be installed in such a window...See Above: "Window kit included for easy installation. Scope of application for window installation: 26.5 "-51"." But upon reading the installation directions which state "Min size: 36in, Max size: 52in" and measuring the slide to be just that, I have a problem. Now what? Do I pack this R2D2 unit back up and go through the hassle of shipping it back to the Empire, or do I cut 3" off it and see what happens? Stay tuned.

Ok so my likes are the fact that it's not too heavy to lift, it shoots out ice cold air and it fit perfectly in my window the other one I have has a bunch of weather stripping in it to plug up any open areas and this one doesn't need that...my dislikes are omg the installation! The only difficult part was attaching the hose to the machine! The picture showed you shouldn't unravel the hose yet and it clips right in, nope! After trying that, just about every cuss word there is and youtube videos that didn't work I had the idea to unravel it all the way and slide it in and that worked! It doesn't cool down my living room 100% I leave it on all day and it only goes down 3 degrees at most... but I can say it's about 150$ cheaper than the other one so maybe invest in the more expensive one. Overall I can say I'm glad I have it over nothing at all! My condo would get to 90 degrees and now it's at 80 lol progress!

I does keep my bedroom cool, however as it has became humid my opinion changed. It never needed emptied, until the humid season got here. Then it beeped all the time to be emptied. Every 45 min to an hour. And picking this moderately heavy unit and draining it was a chore. You ask why did you not return it... I bought it a month before the humid season and after that it's all mine to keep... So I had a small side table and have set the unit on it with a bucket to catch the water because I leave the plug out of it. On a humid night I can get between 3 and 5 gallons of water out of this machine. It cools very well.
