The unit works well. The initial installation was cumbersome and the directions were a bit confusing. After some improve duct tape we were successful for a cool down.

Not able to use the dehumidifier feature. Unit does not turn on when the temps increase--it just stays at the same level and is loud until you turn it up. Just okay.

I purchased this for my small home office. It's a small room, so I don't need much, and the price on this was good compared to a lot of similar types of units with similar ratings. I just set it up today, and I think it will be ok, but I would like to point out a few significant issues: 1) Low noise??? As if!!! This thing is loud! So loud that I will have to turn it off for any phone calls or video conference calls. 2) It was described as fitting window openings as small as 22.5". That is also B.S.!!! The minimum window opening this will fit is 36"! The part that fits into the window is adjustable, and when adjusted to the minimum size for the hose to connect, the part it is 36" long. My window is only about 30" wide, so I had to saw off a part of the extender piece to make it fit. Not the end the world, but I was not expecting to have to do that. And if you don't have tools at home you may not be able to make this work in a smaller window. 3) The piece that fits into the window is also pretty flimsy, and there are no features on it to help set it firmly in the window. So setting it up, it kept popping out or falling over. Once it's in it is fine, but if I move the AC unit at all it will fall out again. In general, this is unit design that suits its price. It has some flaws, but it was also inexpensive. If you want a quiet, low maintenance AC unit for a small space, this is NOT the unit for you.

The air conditioner arrived when promised. The instructions were not well written but installation was easy. The unit cools a large room well. The only real problem is the noise. We can't hear the TV clearly without wearing headphones.

This unit was bought because it was the cheapest one I could find and it was the middle of the summer! Lol it works great, honestly.. The reason I knocked it a couple of stars was because it doesn't have a temperature control... It just cools the room until you turn it off.. Lol it's weird not being able to set a temperature. Also, the window piece wasn't long enough to fit in my window properly. I had to use a piece of foam from the packaging to make it go all the way across the width of my window. On the plus side, it's not super loud, it doesn't make any weird noises, it was very easy to set up, it's not bad to clean. I love that it's flat, instead of angled on top. It's pretty good. I think next year, I'll put this unit in the guest room.. But I want to get something with temperature control for my own bedroom. It works and does a very good job. Can't really beat the price, either, unless you get something used or on sale!
