This was amazing for the first two weeks. It put out the perfect amount of heat. Then we started getting an error message. We have tried resetting it and it doesn’t work. Huge waste of money.

I ordered my first insert included in a cabinet around December last year. The fireplace cabinet is lovely. However, the insert only worked for a little while. By January 3, it stopped working. We had no heat. It took much back and forth communication. Around the end of January we finally worked out an agreement. This was also very difficult.We thought it had to be a fluke. Shame on you...shame on me... We ordered a second one . The next day after receipt, the second one had the same problem. With no free shipping and very little help, well you know the rest. Stay away from it! By the way I couldn't rate with "no star."

We bought the heater last January, installed it and never used it until December. It’s February and it’s already broke and won’t put out heat. Contacted the seller who said “ the manufacturer said they do not make parts, hope you understand.”Product is crap buy at your own risk.

This heater worked as expected for the first 30-40 days. It now will not come on except in view mode of heater. I am didn’t buy this product to just look at logs on fire. I bought it from for heating purposes which it does not do . If I unplug the heater & plug it bk in, it will not heat for maybe 5-10 minutes, then lights start blinking & no heat comes out &You cannot select another setting from the heater or the remote. I do not suggest buying this heater at all!!!

I purchased this product in 2022. It ran great for about 1 year before it almost burned my house down with my children inside the house, while I was at work. The cord is melted, my carpet burnt as well as the wall and boarders are black. My kids called me so scared while I was at work and I had to rush home and take care of it.I would not buy this product again. Not if you value your safety. So scary.

Bought this as a replacement. Install was easy, worked well, for a while. After intermittent use, one day, the LED circuit board just died so the lights do not work at all. If you don't mind a dark fireplace, this is for you. I'd recommend you look for another option....I have to.

Warning! Heater caught fire! I don’t write reviews but I think this is essential for public safety.After less than a month in operation the unit caught fire! Yesterday evening I noticed that the heating element was glowing bright orange. In a moment flames were shooting from the heating element and up the wall.I managed to shut it off and put out the fire but it all happened so quickly that I hate to think what would happened if I hadn’t been right there.I am unable to get through to the seller through Amazon because I have exceeded the return deadline.This was very scary and frustrating trying to deal with the situation.

The reason for my bad review is not a reflection of the item but the company. The item we purchase didn't work for our space, so we started the return process with Amazon...Tangkula sent us the return label a couple of days later, I had to go to UPS three times because the labels were not correct, when we finally received the "correct labels" we went back to UPS to find out that we had to pay for the return $79.99.As suggested with the return label, we contacted the company directly a week ago and we still have not receive a response from them.Like I said the item looks great and it probably works great too, to bad Thagkula doesn't.

Do not get this garbage. E3 error after one year of buying it. Do NOT recommend!!!!!

Was weak for heating, remote didn't work so requested a refund and they charged me a 15.00 return fee for a broken unit. Be careful folks. I think they just after money and I didn't care for the customer service neither. Kinda got nasty with me!!!!
