The media could not be loaded. This fireplace is so close to perfect. Price, design, remote, flame effect… happy with them all. The noise, however. This is installed in the bedroom and I love a quiet night. This is not the purchase for quiet nights in quiet rooms. If you can’t hear high pitched noises, you are probably fine, but the motor in this just WHINES. I’ve taken it apart and made some other mounts to dampen the sound, but nothing has worked. This type of motor is just inherently noisy from vibration and it travels throughout the case, which is really too bad.

The product itself is fine, but the measurements are wrong. This is not an 18 inch unit and therefore does not fit in my fireplace. Luckily I had a friend who was able to rig something up for me.
