My eight year old had a lot of difficulty with this.

This seems to be advertised for young girls but it’s actually too complicated and is more of an adult project.

This is a way overcomplicated craft project. It's not truly latch hook and it difficult to manage.It would be so much better if they weren't just asking you to pull yarn through the hole and you attached each yarn piece to the plastic.My daughter got frustrated with this and quit.Just not worth the money or the frustration.

So I love latch hook kits and when I saw this 3D one I thought it would be awesome to get. First, this is not a latch hook kit even if it is called LatchKits. There is no latch hook involved in this at all. They supply a small crochet hook and various balls of yarn. The instructions aren't hard but they might be a little complicated for a beginner. This kit is more for looping yarn and creating a loop effect than a latch kit effect.

This was a very fun activity.. the only thing I recommend is the age range it's a little more complexed the I would say the age range is about 10

The toy was suitable but I bought this as a gift. It was not wrapped in any kind of packaging so when it arrived, it was squashed and scuffed.
