well-made hat, great fitting; however; the website photo of the hat seemed to have a wider brim (which I would have preferred); but it still provides shade, just not as much as I was expecting;

The pink hat, which is the one I liked the most is much smaller that the blue one which fits perfectly. I cannot even get the pink to fit over my head! In this respect I am very disappointed. The blue is a perfect fit for me but shouldn't they both be the same size ?

I've been seeing these hats advertised for a while and was always curious how I'd like wearing a full hat verses a baseball cap style. They are a nice hat, pretty much as pictured, but they're not for me, I prefer a cap, because I have a larger head size than what the "one size fits most" works for, so, these were too small for me and didn't give as much sun shading as a cap's bill does. I will probably donate them to either another family member or a friend who would enjoy wearing them.

The hats are cute but there is a bad smell. I have hand washed them but still an odor remains. Will try airing out in the sun and hope that helps.

I liked the two hats I received on paper, however they were shipped wadded up and packed into a flimsy bag, therefore totally wrinkled up. I am not sure how to get them out, not like I can iron them. So I probably won’t be able to wear them right off until I can get them looking how they are supposed to.

I love the look of the hat and it has everything I want, but my hair isn’t long enough for a ponytail. Has anyone bought this hat that doesn’t have a ponytail?

My head is 23" and this hat just fits. It's almost a little snug even when entirely loosened. The fact that I wanted a ponytail hole and have a big head left me with limited choices. When I originally ordered this I didn't notice the sides snap up. Cute benefit. I just wish the chin strap was removeable. I knocked stars off because there was fuzz sewn into the brim. I was able to remove it but the stitching is now loose where it was.

I like this hat quite a bit, but there are some things that I don't. For one, the fit is huge. If I don't tighten it, it'll fall on my sunglasses. While it has an opening for a ponytail, it sits kinda low, so you either put up with it being askew from your hair, or you redo it. The band to tighten it is a clip, I would've preferred velcro, and the brim becomes puckered from adjusting it smaller. I'm not thrilled the string is permanently attached, but you can just tuck it in, though it sometimes pops through the opening in the back. But what I mostly dislike about it is that the brim doesn't shade the lower half of my face, so I still had to put sunscreen on, which is the main reason why I get wide brimmed hats. However, it's lightweight, it shades my eyes from the sun. and the color is bright.

Love this hat - except the fit. I don't have a ginormous head, maybe a little big? But this hat is really tight. Like, I can stand it for a short while and it won't blow off, but I wouldn't be able to use it if I was getting a little headache kind of thing. While the reviews did give sizing, I looked at all the other hats similar to this one and couldn't find a larger one, so I went with this one. I needed a quality hat for almost daily FL weather, hiking, outdoor shopping, and kayaking kind of stuff, while also accommodating longer hair. While I haven't gotten caught out in a summer downpour yet, the brim is quite stiff and I expect it will hold up, comparing to other bucket style hats I've had that don't. The materials in the rest of the hat feel very quality, though it could have used a better venting system to keep cooler, I wouldn't say it got super hot though, just could be improved. It's also REALLY cute. Unless it's a baseball hat, I just don't look good in hats at all. Especially not hats in this style. I was really surprised I don't look like an idiot like usual. Hats this style also usually create issues with what to do to keep my longer hair off my neck, and this solves that! I do have fine, thin hair, so I had no issues getting my pony through the hole and my armpit length hair stayed off my neck because the brim kept it off. It wouldn't be too difficult to just bun it and still be able to use this hat either. Amazing. So aside from my head being a bit squished, this hat is total perfection. You won't be disappointed!
