[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The "slider" part, on the head attracted my attention. Until I had to shave under my nose. It seems the apertures for the blades are a bit far in, from the edge, thus making it an interesting maneuver to reach the hairs under my nose. But, I manage... I also notice, I have to make a few more passes for the blades to catch and cut the hairs on my beard. Unlike the cheaper aquatec, I've had for 6 years. I also found it to be quieter than the aquatec. Overall, I have it now, and I will use it hopefully for a few years. I do believe in the quality of shavers from Philips Norelco and that's why I continue to purchase your products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product comes in nice packaging with an opening door which allows you to see the product straight away, the shaver makes clean, precise cuts of facial hair with ease allowing a smooth, close shave. The shaver didn’t leave any irritation on the skin and no pulling of the hair. The instructions are a little difficult to understand at first as the user manual is all in picture form and not written words. The use of the app that allows you track your shave in real time is really great feature and allows you to know whether your shaving technique is optimal or not. I’d recommend this product to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been excited to try out this philips series 8 shaver as I like the look of the head with it's 3 seperate, angled cutting circles. I currently us a electric shaver from a rival brand and it works fine on my face but really struggles when it comes to the hairs on my neck so much that I have to get a razor out to finish the job. The razor it's self feels nice and is a good weight without been too heavy and feels comfortable when gripped in the hand. This shaver can be used wet or dry, I personally like to use it dry as I want it to be quick abs convent. The noise it makes is actually not too bad and won't wake people who, are sleeping if your prever to shave in the early mornings. I have found the battery life to be very good which is another selling point for me. Now on to the shave itself as that's why we buy the product. The save is amazing! Definitely feels much closer than my ( yawn ) series 9 (see what I did there). My asking on my face is left very smooth and doesn't feel like it's been hacked in to. Now the the real test is my neck and especially around my adams apple. While the Phillips was not percent it was a lot better than my other rasor and there were only, a few parts it struggled on but I can live with that. I am really pleased with this shaver and am sure it will, now become my daily choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no complaints with this shaver. I would highly recommend this razor as it gives an excellent close shave. I can shave quickly, with no irritation. It is a gentle shave, even on longer hair. I find it better than using a razor blade When shaver is fully charged this provides a first class shave. I find it very easy to use and has a long battery life. It is very easy to charge and cleaning the shaver is very straightforward. I've been using this shaver for a while now now and it's probably the best electric shaver that i have ever had. Sometimes i would suffer with itchy, dry skin but so far with this shave this has not happened. The app is very useful too, although i’m not a real techie! Was easy to set up. Charging pod is great too and simple to use. Would highly recommend! In conclusion this is the best electric shaver I have had. It gives a close shave either wet or dry, and the cleaning system is brilliant. I would highly recommend.

I've used this dry and wet and the results are very impressive. The design is great, it's comfortable to hold and easy to use.

There is minimal to no tugging on the skin and given that mine is very sensitive this is a massive bonus. It shaves nice and close without irritation and the app is a handy feature to ensure those who are new to working with an electric shaver such as this find their way around it easier. The battery life is fantastic and the app tells you how many shaves you have left before it requires a charge. I have thoroughly enjoyed testing such a high quality product. I have a similar shaver, the skullshaver and I must say, for the face, the skullshaver does not even compare however when shaving my head the skullshaver is a bit easier to manoeuvre but this is purely down to the shape of the handle and the weight being much lighter. My only quibble with this shaver would be the retail price. It is extremely high end and arguably this can be seen in the quality of the end product however I would potentially struggle to justify the price tag in this day and age. For that reason alone I have given it 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the colour contrast and the hard case is great. Very stylish. The manual should be available on the APP. The angle of the head was a few degrees different to the older Philips shavers and I found this made shaving more difficult. It was a slightly closer shave than the older models, however this was minimal so not a fantastic improvement. The grip on the handle was too slight so even whilst dry shaving I had to hold it tightly to avoid dropping it. A 2 pin plug should be provided with the USB.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression, nice looking shaver with large rotary blades although, because of the design, I think that they appear larger than they actually are. I downloaded the app and began shaving, it took me 3 attempts before I started to shave in a circular motion. I have been using a foil shaver for many years. The app gives a score for correctness of shaving. Once I obtained an acceptable score I stopped using the app. I did get a smooth & close shave and the shaver was kind to my sensitive skin. The battery lasts for a couple of weeks and charges speedily via a usb. Comes with a travel case.
