My rating is 3 Stars. Philips Norelco is my favorite of all other brands and I've had 4 Philips and 3-4 other brands but always return to Norelco. This time I had originally bought a model 9450 which I loved but decided to turn it back in during its trial period and replaced it with a S9502 in order to get the pop-up trimmer and the attached heads. I should have returned it during its trial period but kept thinking, based on multiple very good reviews, that I'd ultimately get used to it. I haven't and wish I had the 9450 back. I.e. It was much faster, shaved closer, and worked much more effectively around my upper lip and nose that the 9502. The 9450 was, unquestionably, THE best electric shaver I've ever owned. I'm just hoping that when I get ready to replace the 9502, the 9450 is still available. I realize, based upon the many positive reviews, that I'm in a minority and would, therefore, recommend the 9502 after explaining my concerns.

Unforgettable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still not sure. I am never able to get an "efficient" shave (green light) and although it gives a clean shave, the beard seems to grow back faster than my previous Norelco Aquatec AT 810.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looked a great shaver ,But rather disappointed it didn't shave that well I still had stuble. I had various shavers and didn't think this shaver was any better then the ones I have used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Shaver 8000 series is a quick and convenient option for those looking for an electric shaver. It boasts a good battery life and is easy to carry, making it a great choice for travel. Cleaning the shaver is also a breeze thanks to its easy-to-clean design. Unfortunately, the app that accompanies the shaver did not recognize the correct shaver model, which is a disappointment. Additionally, while the shaver does provide a relatively close shave, it falls short when compared to a manual razor. I also had difficulty achieving a clean shave under the nose and found it challenging to reach all desired areas due to the size of the shaver head. Moreover, I found that the shaver head broke off easily when cleaning, which is a significant concern for such an expensive product. Overall, the Philips Shaver 8000 series has its pros and cons, but it may not be the best option for those looking for a perfectly close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the razor, but the motor goes real slow compared to the other razor that I have with a button that gives it T4 speed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my razor for almost 2 months. I use it according to the information in a circular manner and it misses a lot of hair. If I keep going over the area it irritates my face. Not what I expected.

Nice, quick comfy shave, very relaxed and quiet compared to foil shavers. Doesn’t require hardly any pressure. I wanted to love it but I returned it because I can’t get my upper lip shaved properly with this razor. Nicks me at the lip line and doesn’t feel safe up there. Too bad. And I have the angular heads. Many years ago when they were round I had one and liked it more. I think the angular heads make it harder to safely get into the upper lip area.
