[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the chance to try out this Wet and Dry Electric Razor, and I have to say, I was impressed. This razor is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile and efficient tool for shaving.Battery life so far has been great and very easy to charge if buying for travel. One thing that stood out to me about this razor was its ability to provide a close and comfortable shave. The precision blades easily glide over the contours of the skin, ensuring that every hair is removed without causing any irritation or discomfort. I was especially impressed with how well it performed on hard-to-reach areas, such as the neck and jawline. Another feature that I really liked about the Philips Razor was its durability and reliability. This razor is built to last, with high-quality materials and components that are designed to withstand years of regular use. It also comes with a variety of advanced features and settings, such as adjustable speed and shaving modes, that make it easy to customize the shaving experience to your specific needs. In terms of convenience, this Razor really shines. The ability to use it on both wet and dry skin is a game-changer, allowing you to shave in the shower or on the go. It's also easy to clean and maintain, with a simple rinsing under the faucet being all that's needed to keep it in top shape. Overall, I would highly recommend the Razor to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient tool for shaving. It offers a superior shaving experience that's hard to beat, and with its advanced features and durable construction, it's definitely worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I considered myself a competent shaver having done it for 25 years...I was wrong. This product not only gave me a close tight shave but taught me how to do it properly and whilst learning through the app it it learned with me and it became the most comfortable shave I've had after the 3rd attempt. I really enjoyed using it but at the start it was a little nippy but that changed when I found out to actually shave my stubble. Really good product and support 9.5/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver boasts a long battery life of over a week, which is a big plus for me as I travel frequently and don't want to worry about constantly charging my shaver. Additionally, the build quality is top-notch and the included case is a nice touch, as it helps keep the shaver protected during travel. One feature that I really appreciate is the fact that the shaver charges via USB. This makes it easy to charge on the go, without having to worry about carrying around a bulky charging dock. However, I do think that the RRP is a bit too high for what the shaver offers, especially considering that there are other shavers on the market that will provide a similar shave for a fraction of the price. One thing that I wasn't too impressed with was the app that comes with the shaver. While it does offer some basic functionality, such as indicating the charging percentage, I felt that it was mostly a gimmick and didn't really add much value to the shaver overall. In fact, I think that they should have implemented the charging percentage display directly on the shaver itself, rather than relying on the app. I did also notice that the shaver did not provide as close of a shave as a conventional razor. This may not be an issue for everyone, but it's worth noting for those who prioritize a close shave. Overall, I would recommend this shaver to those who prioritize a long battery life, quality build, and ease of charging, but don't mind sacrificing a bit of closeness in their shave and are willing to pay the significant premium over the competition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have an old Series 9000 shaver, so when I received this I was expecting something very similar, but maybe not as feature-rich - however I was thrilled to see this was not necessarily the case. Shaving quality from the main shaver is good, although it would be nice to have speed options instead of a fixed speed - I find a lower speed helps with irritation. The main downside to this shaver is the inadequate trimmer attachment fixed to the back of the shaver, it's just not fit for purpose. It doesn't lock into place when open, so just moves up and down when you're trying to shave, resulting in many pulled hairs - leading to noticeable pain. A separate attachment to connect in place of the rotary blades would be 1000% better. I rarely use these anyway, so doesn't affect me that much, but be aware of this if it's a feature you're looking for. Overall, I'd say it's a good product, but not without it's issues - the massive RRP being one of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I retired, we bought a vacation home. I needed a new shaver to keep at the new house instead of carrying my old Philips Arcitec back and forth. I love the speed and closeness I get with my new Philips Series 9000 shaver. However, I am not sure if it is because of the shaver or if it is because of the S91/52 blades that came with it. I have been using S71/52 replacement blades for the Arcitec. When I received my new shaver, I saw that the new S91/52 blades has a double ring of cutters instead of a single ring as in the S71/52 blades I have been using. So, I slipped one of the blades out of the new shaver and put it into my Arcitec. It fit perfectly. So I ordered a new set of S91/52 blades and replaced my old S71/52 set in my old shaver. It works just as good as my new shaver. I wish Philips would have listed these new S91/52 blades as a replacement choice for my Arcitec. I would have been able to enjoy the faster and closer shave that I am now getting with my old shaver. Also, I don’t understand why the new shaver has an internet connection and supposedly teaches you how to shave in a circular motion. Just an unnecessary added expense built into to the new shaver, why? Just for the ‘COOL’ factor of being connected to more technology?
I Reviewed It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because it was becoming too expensive to find authentic to find replacement blades for my Arcitec shaver. It works as I would expect it to, but I quickly realized it is heavy and bulky (and my hands are big). I haven't installed the app because I don't see a reason to have it tell me I don't shave in enough circles or the long term advantage of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Norelco trims closer than my previous Norelco and Braun shavers. However, the cutting heads are located too far from the edge of the head assembly. It makes it difficult to precisely shave the hair under the sideburns. Also, the instruction don’t describe cleaning the shaver other than with their special accessory and fluid. Well, I didn’t buy them and I clean the shaver by blowing it out with compressed air, using soap and water and adding a drop of shaver oil after the water has dried. So far, no one has died and the shaver still works. I’ll call it a win.

The manual, in diagram form, is impossible to understand. It is full of symbols with no explanation of what they mean. I've spent considerable time trying to understand it all. Why is no manual, with clear explanations, available?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still learning to get the best possible results. Gives a decent shave but still getting inconsistent results. More operator than razor. Hard to get a clean smooth shave along the jaw line and upper lip area. I do like the convenience of being able to use as dry or wet. I feel a pre shave oil might help if anyone has a recommendation for this type of product.
