I picked these up at the Razer store in SF and have to say that I am happy with them. I go from my razer phone 2 too my stealth playing games and so far they work. The only pc game that I have currently that these controllers do not work for is Killer Instinct but from what I have been reading a lot of controllers have that problem with that game so no fault on junglecats. Very portable. long battery life. I have yet to drain the batteries. Have yet to see any disconnections using these. One thing I kind a wish was done that we were given a two headed charging cable since both parts of the controller are charged individually.

So the quality on the controller are very nice. Great matte finish. Setup and pairing took like 10 secs. Download the gamepad app and follow the instructions for custom overlay for game that aren't supported or you can use the app to download recommend games currently working out of the box. So this only comes with 3 cases for the note 9, S10 plus and razer 2 phone. So that did not stop me from 3d printing a custom case for my own phone. Took a few tries on measurement but got it fitting nicely.

I got this for my son for Christmas, and it wasn't until I received it that I realized it was designed for specific phones...none of which he actually had. He has a Samsung Note 8 and it says it was good for a Note 9...well crap. As I began to think of it, I realized both phones were almost identical in size and shape...so I gambled and gave it to him anyway. It comes with a few extra cases that fit the specific phones and the one for the Note 9 fit almost perfectly on his Note 8. The camera configuration with the fingerprint reader on back is slightly different and the power button is off by a few millimeters, otherwise it works well. He's been playing with it almost non-stop ever since. He paired it with his phone, immediately pulled up Minecraft and it automatically deferred to the controls on either side of the screen (on the top and bottom) and it pretty much feels like a Nintendo Switch and even though the screen is smaller, because he no longer has to touch the screen to do anything, it feels way more immersive as he no longer needs to look around his hands as he plays the game (gamers will understand what this means). In short, this game controller WORKS. He was unbelievably happy with it. I was thrilled that he found so much enjoyment from something that I was initially worried he wouldn't like. If you are on the fence, let me push you over to the side of buying it. Unless the phone they use is completely different, this is a very worthwhile tool for the portable gamer in your family.

As the typical millennial who travels way too much for work, I am constantly glued to a screen. While traveling I’d like to alternate between watching movies, Santa music, and playing games. But I got tired of the hassle of caring multiple devices, tablet, phone, Nintendo switch. I saw this device as a great way to combine at least a few of those into a one non-stop shop. I tend to play several games on my phone already, specifically several action games that lose a certain degree realness when trying to use a phone as a controller. This dual sided controller from Razor has been a great alternative. The phone locks into place securely. And connects via Bluetooth device with ease. I took some time playing with the jungle cat app to really truly master integrated games that don’t organically pair with his controller. It is not overly intuitive, but once you get used to pairing the controller through the app to the game, It comes relatively simple to use. The loud of the controllers remind me of a typical Xbox controller, which makes multiple actions such as moving and shooting relatively much simpler. I’ve noticed however that the buttons do tend to stick a bit and it’s on some occasions have a bit of lag. These problems however, are not enough to track me or stop in anyway from using this device.Very happy with it so far, and I would highly recommend it Friday but it does extensive amount of traveling and gaming on the phone. It is the ideal for turning your phone truly in to a mobile gaming consul.

I was looking for a Switch-style controller designed for Android as I had seen them for iOS previously, however the only similar one was a telescoping controller meant more for Android tablets. While I understand the case limits the number of people who can utilize this controller as intended, I was one with a Note 9. I don't really recommend this controller if you don't have a compatible phone as you are better off just getting a Dualshock 4 or Xbox One controller at that point (besides battery life I guess, DS4 is about 12hr battery). Dualshock 4 and Xbox One controllers both have phone mounts as well, but the DS4 Nyko clip WILL break 2-4 months no matter how well you baby it and they are both quite top heavy which gets uncomfortable. The case fits well, although the headphone port will not work with any wired headphones with a right angle (needs a straight connection in as it is too thick), however considering I normally use bluetooth earbuds when I stream with Moonlight or Steam Link, it was not a big deal. The buttons have a nice feel and layout is a good size, I can press everything easily while still having a comfortable grip. They are also quite light so they don't add a lot of weight to the device and are much better than the top heavy phone mounts for controllers. The buttons and triggers do click louder than my DS4 so it's not quite as nice for when the fiance is sleeping. I can't speak to the android game compatibility as I bought it exclusively for game streaming but it has worked flawlessly with both Moonlight and Steam Link. Only complaint really is the left controller wiggles slightly when it's "clipped" on the case, the right does not. Overall, definitely get this if you want Switch-style controller and have a compatible phone as it is great to use. If you don't have one of the three compatible phones then just use a traditional controller with a phone clip (DS4 or Xbox One) or check out the Razer Raiju.

Works great with my Galaxy S9. Was able to connect easily and there doesn't seem to be any lag in the controls. Definitely makes gaming on my phone a lot easier and enjoyable.

I purchased mine direct from Razer, and so far have been very impressed. I do mostly emulation. If you're worried about input lag, at least on my Razer Phone 2, the lag is imperceptible. My best friend who swore off emulation as he hates input lag had to admit it felt like playing a real console. A bit pricey, you're paying a $20 Razer tax over Joy Cons. They come with 3 cases however. These controllers will pair with any device that uses Bluetooth. The connecting system requires a case of some sort that they slide on to. Hopefully someone will make some generic phone connectors at some point. So far, thrilled with them. The buttons are clicky, similar to Nintendo Joycons. I would have liked a dedicated home button, my biggest complaint.
