Not much to say. It’s a new Tile with expanded range & better IPX rating. Functions well, but expect a 3-15 second delay before response from the Tile or connected device.Overall issue is the selection of tones & alerts. The 2-way call system is great, but the tone selection is basically like choosing from 6-10 early 2000’s ringtones.I was unaware of this, so other buyers be aware. If you plan on using this for - purpose that would better suit a chiming, ringing, beeping, or other SIMPLE feedback tone, that is not an option.Otherwise great product. Paired just fine w/ my phone, overall functions as intended.

I just wanted 3 things from a key finder- beep to find my keys, the finder to call or beep to find my phone and if I walked off with out my phone, the finder to alert. That was pretty much the most important thing I wanted. So, the the finder worked well when I alerted from my phone. It worked well using it to find my keys. The 1 thing it didn't do was alert when I walked away without my phone. Supposedly it will do that if you pay monthly or yearly fee to active all features. I sent it back. I wish the description would have said that there was a fee to get all the features, like I think GPS... I'm not sure of all of them, which is impressive so I can't fault that. It seems a nice finder and well made, easy to pair, but in this case 2 out of 3 just doesn't cut it.

I bought these prior to a trip to Japan. I put them in our checked luggage thinking it would be great to be able to track them through the airport, on the plane, and at baggage carousels. Well, they need a bluetooth/wifi connection to ping and I'm guessing those don't exist after you check your baggage. Also, no connection on the flight. When the baggage was coming out of the carousel, they weren't connecting until they were about 8 feet from me. So, I'm guessing the range isn't great either. If I could return them, I would for sure.

*Edit: After about a month of it working perfectly, all of a sudden the Tile Pro is no longer detected by the app when it moves more than 5-10ft away from my phone. I tried changing the battery, restarting my phone, resetting Bluetooth, clearing wireless connection settings, and even using different phones but nothing is working at all. The Tile app either desperately needs an update or the hardware just isn't durable enough for long term use.My cat is an indoor and outdoor cat who likes to travel when he goes outside, he never goes missing but can be gone for up to 5 hours at a time. Instead of checking outside every 15-30 minutes to see if my cat has come back home I thought it would be a good idea to have some sort of tracker to notify me when my mischievous furball has returned.The Tile Pro (2022) has a decent amount of range but the maximum range I've been able to pick up the Tile from my phone is around 200ft(60m) compared to the 400ft that's listed in the specifications but that is entirely due to my current location. The range though is perfect for knowing when my cat has come back into my yard and all it takes is just opening the Tile app on my phone to see when my cat was last within range and what location on the map he was last detected at. If my cat is nearby it will give a signal strength meter that increases the closer I am to the Tile.The Tile Pro is a bit awkward on a collar if you just attach it via the metal ring because of its length so I would suggest fastening it horizontally to a breakaway collar by using a small zip-tie or two like I did in the picture above. My cat doesn't mind the collar with the Tile Pro at all and he just goes adventuring as he normally does. If you plan on using the Tile Pro on your cat, I highly recommend muting the ringtone as it may frighten your cat as the tone can be very loud. Also, I recommend using a small piece of clear tape to cover and protect the QR code on the back as it is a sticker that can either wear down or come off if your cat goes outside often. The QR code can be scanned if someone has found the Tile tracker if it is lost and you will be notified through the app.The Tile Pro 2022 model has definitely made life with my cat a bit less worrisome as I can just check the app when he comes back home and know which direction he headed last through the map. My only complaint is I wish the app could send notifications to my phone when the tracker has come back within range instead of opening the app over and over but aside from that the Tile Pro does exactly what I need it to do and I highly recommend it for indoor/outdoor cats!
