I gotta say I have always wanted to love Tile.. I have a horrible habit of losing my keys... like DAILY! I have bought a new tile every single year. For some I think these tiles just work and they are amazingly useful. I mean... your running through your house just trying to find your keys before work when you remember your Tile! Hey Siri.. Find My Keys! that glorious sound comes from your desk! Oh ya! I left it there! Now I remember! Thank you MY SAVIOR! ..... BUT!... I have stuck with tile through 3 phones and 4 different versions of tiles that worked great off and on and all but ultimately just did not work like they should.I keep just hoping the next years model will work better for me and I think I am finally done and moving to a different company. The one I bought last year did not work except when it chose to.. I contacted support which is great btw... they sent me a replacement and I had it in 4 days and it worked great... until it started to do the same thing and saying it was not found even when it was on my countertop about 8 feet away for example.Lets jump to this model... even as I type it is on my keys in the next room... about 12 feet away.. and I just used the app to give it one last try before writing this review. Nothing! apparently its not in range YET AGAIN. Now this is no big deal right now Right?.. But when I need to find my keys before I am late for work while I frantically tear apart my house? nope...Just FYI every phone I have used my Tiles on were iPhones.

works great ..if your phone is turned on...but not if your phone is turned off/out of powerwhich defeats the purpose if you turn it off for the night place it down and cant remember where you put it what happens if its gets lost and the battery runs out ???i was hoping it would be something you can attach to your phone so on or off it would always workwas wrong

If you need tracking beyond 400 feet, ehh. Requires another device with tile activated to fid it. And the other device needs to be fairly near and stationary. A passing car won't trigger a "find". When a "find" is generated (>400') it can take 5-15 minutes to sent the message. You could "sneak" up to the right location and not be notified for some time.

We bought them in late April, used them for one trip in May and just got an email that all 4 batteries are weak so not one year batteries. Not even close. They worked okay, but didn’t always seem to be trackable so we wouldn’t purchase again.

I bought two of these and they seem to be ok as far as detecting location but the volume on the ringer is very low with no way to boost it. If you are more than 5-10ft away, you can't hear it ringing...

The reason to purchase this Tile was to help my wife find her keys. It only finds the keys if they are less then 5 feet away (and in sight) and thus it is terribly overrated and useless. Reinstall the app, reboot the phone, replace the battery all did nothing to resolve the issue. However, the Tile can help find Her phone - but then again so can my phone and the iWatch.

When it works , it’s pretty helpful. WHEN being the key word. There are times, where by the time it decides to connect. I’ve already found my keys often times it can be sitting within a foot or so with me, and it won’t connect the same goes for the other feature of using my key finder to find my phone when it works. It’s very helpful, I don’t have a huge amount of faith in it but it has been better than nothing I would suggest looking for something that works better than this. this does fit a budget fairly well , so if that is a factor and you don’t feel that you have any other option this will helpful.Tbh I would buy it again I just think that they need to do a few little tweaks on it to make it a little bit better.I would also suggest they kinda change the way you click it to find your phone because it’s hard to know sometimes if you’ve clicked it right or if the phones just not being found often times I feel like I’m not clicking the button well enough how do you describe.

Got it to track luggage but looks like I can only track phone & volume to track it is barely audible...it's on Loud!?

They work pretty well, except that the batteries only lasted two months from the time I received them.

The basic features work well. I'm able to find a device with my phone as long as it's in Bluetooth range. (There's no option to beep the device when it's not nearby.)Very disappointing, though, as we are preparing to leave on a trip and use these for locating kids and luggage, was to suddenly find that the devices can only be shared with one other account. So, for example, a kid can't share their tile with both parents. This seems contrary to the info provided by the manufacturer in the Q&A section that "Tile's core finding features remain completely free."How is letting both parents find a kid's tile not a core feature?
