I bought these back in June because I'm constantly losing things. I attached one to my keys and put one in my cigarette case wallet(think 1982 lol) as those are the items I lose most frequently outside my phone. (The call my phone function they have is awesome, as a side note.)However, any time I've needed to use them because I've actually misplaced one of those items, they haven't worked unless I wasabsolutely within arms reach of missing item. Basically if I should see it and am over-looking it, it will work but if it's on the other side of/ in a different room, no dice! And more, not even 6 months in 1 battery completely dead without warning. No,first it decided to go into"lost" status a month and a half!!! and even once found wouldn't connect, now nearly 2 months later the app says the battery is dead, ya think?!?! I got 4 months of half@ss service out of it..I forgot to mention how they like to delete themselves from the "find" list in the app, and never do that unless you actually need to find them, then surprise not in list! These are great, in theory. Perhaps I got a Monday/ Friday pack and others work well, but from my experience these are pretty crappy and I wouldn't necessarily recommend to just anyone. I would however recommend as, if you find them on a great deal and don't have to actually rely on them, or only want them to help locate your phone, take a shot, I would. But no way in hell would I pay full or near full price with their shoddy record in my book. Hopefully this review finds whomever finds it helpful. I should add a side note of I have a terrible track record with ALL Electronics!!! I swear companies that want to truly test their products should send them to me, I can find their faults them they could be marketed as "survived Patti" and everyone would know they were reliable products!

Very dissapointed, whatever I'm looking for is always the last thing to connect to the app!Even if I'm litterly standing right next to it!I've even got Amazon's Sidewalk working, but it almost always takes 5 minutes or more to connect to that last thing! Be it my keys, my wallet, or my mother's ID!I've been late to several things because I trusted the device over my ability to physically find what I'm looking for. And sometimes it's right next to / in front of me!And I'm paying for the service!Italso takes forever for it to connect to my phone when I double-press the button on one of the fobs!Oh, and despite that, I had to turn the fob on my keychain around because it kept getting double-pressed when in my pocket. Luckily taking it off, turning it over, and putting it back on seemed to fix that. It was even happening when I put it in my breast-pocket!It's often acutally faster to physically look for the stuff!I paid WELL over $100 for two fobs and two wallet sized devices, PLUS the yearly plan and THIS is not the level of assistance I paid for.I'd say it's about as helpful as a friend that's so drunk he can't keep his attention on one subject for more than a second or two. Then it's, "What are we looking for?".

I now have several of the 2022 Tile trackers, and as soon as there is a viable alternative to this system for Android cell phones I will be dumping the Tile system.Pros:1. The tracker unit themselves are well made and rugged, with reasonable distance capability.2. Battery changes are easy, and finding batteries is easier - CR2032 batteries can be found everywhere.3. The batteries last about a year, and because they are lithium they will never leak.Cons - in a word .... the Tile application SUCKS:1. Every time you run the app it tries to force you into upgrading into a premium service contract.2. When you configure the app to have BT tracking enabled only when the app is actively on it will try to force you or trick you into making the app be always-on. The system goes so far as to preventing you from enabling new tracker hardware units unless you set the app permissions to be always on.3. With the app being always on the battery drain is astonishing. This app just SUCKS battery life down the drain.4. Yet the app wants to be always on and tries to enforce that. When you reboot the phone the Tile app is automatically enabled again, and the only way to negate that is to go into the app information area and perform a manual force stop.Bottom line: for general tracking the system works. BUT it is not worth the effort and when a viable alternative shows up - like the coming Google tracking system - I will be dumping Tile like a hot rock.
