This thing is not easy to fill. A sand water mix is not enough to keep it from tipping. It is difficult to move and will cause scratching on your deck. Do not put in the grass as it will kill a significant square of grass.

I didn’t realize it was so big The furniture is to far from the square I don’t like the look

I had this base for 1 season. Took out of the garage after 3 months and filled with water and there were tiny micro holes in the plastic causing leaks. Absolutely horrible product

The umbrella was not made well and it broke after about 3 weeks. I did not know it had cracked until someone showed me after about 6 months and that is why it would not stay up. Not a good well made product/ .

Product leaks and try e brackets are not wide enough to fit over the base.... waste of $$

I filled all 4 with water and placed on cross bars of the umbrella. The umbrella blew off the deck and landed in the yard. I couldn't understand why that happened since I'd filled with water! To my surprise all 4 were just about empty!! Now I need to try and fill them with sand. What a pain!

Not easy to fill if you're using sand; pieces don't clip together because the fill hole/spout protrudes so much it won't fit flush in corners, especially if umbrella has a foot control for rotation or angle. We'll see how it holds up umbrella on a windy day. Not happy with this purchase at all.

These weights were recommended for an umbrella I purchased. They were not heavy enough (we filled them with water) to weigh down the umbrella. Should also note that they are held together by a small metal bar (shaped like this: [ if it was flipped horizontally). The holes that the bar went into were not very deep and did not do a good job keeping the weights linked together.

The product would work work except that the pins to keep it all together aren’t long enough to actually fit.
