Not worth it.Terrible design and cheaply made.Wish I had not seen it.

The directions for this item was too brief and incomplete. The umbrella for which I purchased the weighted stand for is off set, so the balance of the stand is very necessary. The problem lies with the pole not having the structure to extend the umbrella to the height needed for normal usage. I had even tied a heavier poly rope from the deck to the pole and back to the deck for added support. This helped, but the pole needs to recede further in the base to come close to working properly. Having the umbrella raised and opened with a breeze would topple the whole system.

Theoretically, this product makes sense. Practically, I would not recommend it. The base consists of four containers which are to be filled with water. Out of the four, three pf the base pieces had pin prick holes which leaked. After a day, my umbrella tumbled over. I spent another $15 buying a tube of Flex Shot to seal the holes. Still leaked. The base is also uneven unless you get the same amount of water in each unit. I would not recommend this item.

First day I filled it up and one of the squares has a hole in it. Leaked water everywhere.

Leaks water and doesn't stay together very well.

Product was easy to set up and worked great for 11 months. The umbrella fell over and almost hit my kids. Upon inspection, water was leaking out of the base so it wouldn't hold the full amount of water. With only half the water's weight in the base, it was just a matter time before it fell. I'm lucky no one was hurt. I cannot recommend this product for any outdoor use.

I can't use my umbrella or this base because my there is no crossbar with either. Very frustrating. Spent hours trying to figure out how to get one. Still don't have a crossbar.

The only way this base will work is if it sits on a perfectly flat surface. How many patios are perfectly flat?! I would not recommend this at all. Now have to go hunting for longer-legged metal pieces to attempt to hold the four plastic weights together. Very disappointed.

The weights were ok but the flanges on the umbrella stand was to narrow for the weights to worked effectively. It would be better if the weights would tie into each other. The first wind that came up the umbrella blow down. Only used the umbrella one time for safety reasons.

One of them is leaking !
