This base is larger than I thought it would be--my fault for not looking at the dimensions. I am waiting on the umbrella to arrive, so I can't comment yet on it's functionality, but the materials appear to be well made. I plan on filling it with water as opposed to sand, mostly for convenience. I hope it can withstand the strong Florida winds we get in the summer.

Product matched description perfectly and was easy to assemble within 30minutes. I used a socket wrench instead of thin tool provided. Love the portable option, waterproof cover to the base, and solid frame. 2 fillable bags hold 20lbs of sand each.

Very good product. Filled with water was alot easier. The hard part was clamping the bent metal bars that hold it together in the holes.

These 4 piece set works for me but they take too much room because of the large size. I wish they made it smaller with more height.

We did not want to fill with water as winter here gets cold. These were extremely difficult to fill with sand , need a wide funnel and very dry sand

Perfect weight ( water filled) for large 10' free standing umbrella. It is larger than I expected. I would have preferred the rounded one but this one works well.

These weights work fine on an even surface. Tried to make them work on a slightly rough dirt area....... unsuccessful.
