Great drums for beginners. They have good quality sound and the flexibility makes them easy to play in most locations. The headset was a wide purchase as an accessory to the drums

My 3 year old grandson was always pounding on hard surfaces with wooden spoons. He actually had a beat going! I researched electronic drum sets and this one caught my eye. Great sound, great quality, and I LOVE that it has a volume button! It also has several different beat buttons, along with just a plain drum sound. One of the drumsticks snapped in half, but it was no fault of the drum sticks. While I was taking everything else out of the box, he was pounding on the edge of his wooden toy box very hard with one of the drumsticks. I ended up ordering a set of Pocket Stix from Amazon and all is right with the world again ;) He uses them like he supposed to and he is loving every second of his drums! I highly recommend these drums for anyone!

UPDATE: The seller responded promptly and sent me a replacement drum pad. The new one works great, and he is very happy; so I am happy! He uses it all the time just to bang around, take a study break and relieve stress. My only wish is that it came with a tutorial so he could really learn to play. I've changed my review from three stars to five stars because the seller responded promptly and stood behind their product.I purchased the RockPals Electronic Drum Set for my son for Christmas. He didn't play it much, but really liked it. However, it is now January 14, so we've had it less than a month, and when he went to play on it today, there was a loud distortion/feedback noise. He tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but the same thing happened. We're thinking we have a defective one. I've emailed the seller to see if we can return this one and get a replacement. Will update when I hear from the seller.

got this for my 7 year old for christmas & he is obsessed!

I have a 7 years old who was begging for a drum set but I wasn’t quite ready for all the noise. I came across this product and it was the best investment I have made! He absolutely loves it and works well with his iPad to store the “music” he creates. You will also want to invest on headphones so he/she can hear what he/she is playing, while you keep your sanity from all the noise!

This set is small enough to take with you. For small kids it's a great introduction to drums without the normal money and space commitment a full set would take. The drums sound surprisingly good for what I considered a "toy". The pedals are plastic and could be considered cheap, but considering the total cost of the set I'm willing to concede you pay for the plastic pedals. More importantly the thickness of the rubber drum mat is sufficient to absorb the constant tapping of the sticks. I like that the top hat sounds "closed" when you push the pedal down and "open" when you release the pedal. The creators of this product put a good amount of thought into how the drums should sound. I'd buy it again, or buy it for friends/family in the future.

This roll-up drum set is very cool. Roll it out when using, and then roll it up for traveling. Just needs few hours of charging and it's ready to use for hours on end. The two speaker built in it is really nice. Nice and clear sounding, can get carried away and still sounds wonderful. Has the ability to hook it up to musical equipment for recording as well. Comes with drumsticks, AUX cord, and two attached boxes all for the drum set. Everything you need to get playing and having fun. Great for kids and adults. This is a great drum set for newbies wanting to learn how to play. Everything is nice quality, built well, and very durable. The pad itself where the circles are to make the sounds are waterproof so no worrying of spilling something on it, and it breaking. Very neat traveling on the go drum set for whenever you need it.

Our 6 almost 7 year old loves it. I used to have a drum set and this isn't a bad like electric set to play around on and this is great for beginners who want to learn the basics. Parents, have then put the head phones on and there's really not any noise for you to be distracted by
