I bought this about a year ago now and i can say i love it, but it does have a few issues. First is the noise. It makes a humming noise kinda like an old tv would make. If you’re older I don’t think you would even hear it but it low key bothers me. The second is that some of the LED’s have gone out. The pink flames don’t work anymore and the blue ones either never did or you just can’t see the blue ones well. That being said, I love it. It’s exactly what I was looking for and for the price… I can’t argue.

We installed built in bookshelves, fireplace and mantle. I thought there was a way to screw the sides to the frame. Unfortunately, I didn’t thoroughly read the description. This was for recessed wall or wall mount. So we had to make a modification to the fireplace frame. The fireplace looks great. Love the different colors.

Hung on the wall just fine but then there was a grinding noise. We read some other reviews and had to take off another guard to fix the rotating rod. The little brushes were rubbing on something and causing a grinding/rubbing noise. Super annoying!! My husband messed with it and fixed it himself. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. Looks great though.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Installed this fireplace in a sun room. Wanted the atmosphere of a fire, without the hassle or construction headache. I installed faux rock around it. it is great to set on the sun room with all windows and turn on the fireplace. The LED is close to real looking flames if you are not looking directly at it. If you are just causally enjoying the atmosphere its great. The heat output is same wattage as a hair dryer, but imagine if it was on low. Not gonna really heat a room with it very efficiently, but again, more atmosphere than anything. The remote is pretty cheap, although I dont expect you would change the settings much. Overall, product works as I expected, seems as advertised, and satisfied with it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great looking fireplace and can't wait to get it installed! I read several reviews about a clicking noise and hoped I didn't get one that clicked...but I did. Easy to fix, before installing, remove the bottom panel of the fireplace and move the silver, foil blades up the rod and away from the center. The blades are getting caught on a ziptie which causes the clicking. I don't know why the company hasn't resolved this since it's such a common complaint but so easy to fix/prevent from happening. That why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. If you're looking for realistic flames or a heat source, this is not the fire place for you. This is about ambiance only. We love it!

Read a bunch of reviews before purchasing this product. I'm no expert on fake fireplaces but I think this one does a nice job of getting the job done. The fan the powers the heat the heating portion makes very little noise, don't even have to adjust the television volume. The flame settings are adequate but they could probably add in some quicker settings; the flames don't flicker as quickly as you would have in a normal fire. The colors are fine though I don't know why you would want a green base. All in all for the money I think it's just fine, easy to install. For those who wrote negative reviews or complained about functionality may just need to lower their expectations for a FAKE fireplace.

We bought this for our bedroom (it can't be more than 100 square feet) with vaulted ceilings, and it heats the room quiet well actually. Installing was not the easiest, even just mounting on the wall without recessing into the wall, but my remote doesn't work. It worked for the first couple days, and now it won't work at all. It takes a coin cell battery, I can't imagine that after only a couple of days the battery has died... I lay only 6 FT away from the unit nd it doesn't work. I can stand right in front of the unit and point the remote directly at it and it doesn't work. ALSO, be careful not to touch the flame screen when adding the beads into the inner tray. We got finger prints that won't come off which I see every time I turn it on now.... it's like a face taunting me going "WHY DOESN"T YOUR REMOTE WOK??!?!"

The fireplace looks great!! Super light, and the flames look a lot better than expected. A little disappointed in the install. Apparently, you can receive different models, and they don’t tell you about a cross brace that needs to be installed behind the unit to anchor the unit. For recessed, it suggests that there should be a wall behind it to screw the unit into. I don’t install these for a living, but who makes faux fireplace walls less than 4 inches deep? Or, what situation would you open your wall, so you can screw the unit into the wall on the other side? Also, the instructions don’t tell you how far you can recess. It is actually vague. The pictures show the unit sticking out a bit with no actual measurement. I did give their customer service a call. They answered right away, and answered my question about how far to recess. The answer is fully. Overall, great fireplace, but less one star for the install.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. If it wasn't for the screws being either too big or too small for where they're supposed to go installing this would of been way easier. Now that I have it mounted (temporarily as I plan on making a fireplace surround) I'm absolutely in love with it! Love the feature where it scrolls through all the colors (see video clip). I have a fairly large space to heat so we'll see how well it does. It's in my renovated basement and there's no other heat source but I seem to be the only one that's ever cold. It's not too loud. Even sitting in a large, rather empty space. Pretty sure it'll be drowned out once tv is mounted.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great unit overall. Pretty loud with heat off. The flame is generated by a turning mechanism internal to the heater. Its constantly cracking and making a metal turning sound. Best view is looking up at the unit. This thing is loud. With heater on still this grinding clicking turning noise drowns out the heater fan which is smooth and steady. 2 heat levels not cold enough to leave on to see how it can warm the room. But standing near you will warm up. Installed in a formerly occupied gas fireplace. Removed a big insert and had nice empty cavity. Installing the unit is almost like hanging a tv. You take a bravket off the back, attatch the bracket to the wall, and hang the fireplace on the bracket. Install time 1.0 hour Crew of 1 Needed to add 2 2X4's installed horizontally behind existing studs. Hung bracket on top stud, braced lower section of the heater with the other 2x4 installed horizontally. Tools needed: Long level at least size of heater Short magnetic level Drill for driving with #2 phillips Comes ready to plug in and go. Installed mine on a switch heater comes on when given power. Probably best so you dont have to touch the glass to turn on.
