I work in construction and I abuse this thing. I have dropped it off a two story building into mud and water, it fell into wet cement, it falls out of my vest pocket constantly, and this thing will not die. I’ve had it for over a year and it’s pretty scratched and beat up, but it’s works just as good as the day I took it out of the box, I work 10-12 hours days and I’m on the phone constantly with my co-workers, and my phone battery plummets, but my charger is always with me ready to shoot it back up, on my break every one knows if they need a charge, I’m the man. I charge people phones and iPads and even laptops. And to charge the battery, I only ever charge it in my car on the drive to and from work (using ankers power drive 2 12v car adapter of course) if You’re looking for a good charger, this is it, it’s big, but it will get the job done.

Took about 5 hours for first time charge. The unit came with just one indicator light going on when placed for charging. I have charged I phone 6s plus about 5 times now and the power bank still has 2 indicator lights on. It will probably last for 2 to 3 more charges. It has held the charge well. It is a little heavy for carrying around everyday but great for charging multiple items over period of days. I used my I phone 12 W power adapters and lightning cables for charging. It worked as expected.

I used this during a recent hospitalization. I was in there for 4 days and I used this several times without recharging the pack. I have an iPhone XR. I also bought one for my boyfriend because travels a lot for work and doesn’t always have access to a charging station. They are very nice accessories to have. I like that they can be used several times before needing to be recharged. I have two children so when we do travel I know I have enough charging power for all of us if we need it.

UPDATED REVIEW: Called customer service and got a very simple fix. Most Anker chargers can be reset by plugging both ends of the supplied power cable into the charger at the same time (one into USB output and one into power input). Fixed problem and charger is now working perfectly. ORIGINAL ONE STAR REVIEW: Worked fine for two months, then quit charging completely. It is fully charged with all four lights on, but will not charge iPhone or iPad. I have five other lower power Anker chargers and all work fine. Too bad as I need a high power charger for a holiday trip.

Old Anker was starting to show it's age, slow to charge, not holding as much, perhaps a little small for my needs. I bought it during the Pokemon Go craze for a deal. This one blows it out of the water, charges my electronics quick and efficient, great to plug in my headlamp, phone and watch on my way to go running and find everything usable and the battery almost full by the time i get to the trial. The only thing that drains the battery with any force is the iPad, but even that is acceptable. Dual charging makes it so this charges quick. Anker makes a quality product and this is no exception.

When your boy's girl was working a public event, her bag got stuck outside with her, and that was the end of the 12000mah charger brick she had been using. I bought it in 2016 and was happy to see things had come a lot farther since then in terms of battery bank tech. I got one of the Anker 13000's but her power hog android phone used all its power in no time. So i returned it and went for this one. Finally even her snapdragon 808 powered beast of a phone can stand a few charges off this. It definitely gets warm charging it with the two plugs at once if both plugs are giving it the maximum current it can charge at, but it hasn't been even close to worryingly warm, just worth noting since none of the smaller power ones ever got warm at all. I charged my iphone x and her android off it at the same time while we were at a restaraunt and both at 20%, charged us both to full and still showed 4 of 4 dots on the charge indicator. Good battery

My only con is it is an odd size. A bit too long, but this is probably necessary to pack in the power and speed of charging that this device has so far shown to be consistent and steady. It does take a bit of time to recharge but with two inputs ( a great feature) it can be raring and ready to go in 4-5 hours. The unit is heavy, solid and does not appear to have any "loose ends" to risk damage, water intrusion or even significant wear and tear. I highly recommend this device.

We have different size chargers by Anker, the smaller are easy to carry in a purse, pocket or backpack. We've had a streak of power outages the past month and needed something that could keep us working on our laptops while having our child use the ipad. This was a perfect addition to our collection! We can keep a USB light plugged in for days and run some other USB electronics without having to worry too much.

So with all the new technology out there I am still using this Anker PowerCore 26800 Portable Charger. It holds its charge very well over long periods of not being used. It charges my Galaxy S7 very quickly and and can recharge it several times on one charge. It works great on my other devices as well and best of all it has lasted for 2 years now and is still working as well as the day I bought it. So if you want a portable charger that not only works well but lasts then this is it. I don't usually write reviews like this but good is good and should be recognized.

Love using this when power outlets are hard to come by. I use this to charge my GoPro batteries when I’m riding my Harley and need to keep the GoPro going. I also use it in emergencies when the power goes out. I’ve charged my iPhone up all week (about 5 times) and still had power left over. I think it dropped to 1 dot or maybe 2. But this battery does more than I need it to. I do recommend buying the Anker dual USB charging block to charge since this bank has two mini usb inputs for charging. Can charge with one, but takes much longer.
