I recently bought a Tile Mate and find that it does work exactly as advertised. In this day and age I know it is rare for people to read the license agreement / Privacy policy of products. I took the time to read the Tile statements and they give me cause to pause.... Data is passed to google analytics and other parties for pattern analysis .... So if you are a paranoid person you may want to think twice about buying one of these.... They know where your phone is and where your tiles are 24x7, and are using this information for ??? purposes.

I purchased four and they have worked as advertised and I haven't had a problem with the sound level. I give it three stars because it is really a subscription since the batteries run out in about a year and are NOT replaceable. You toss the old one out and start all over. Someone needs to develop a rechargeable product

So I just spent 30 minutes looking for my keys. I'd left work to go on an errand with my boss and I thought I'd left my keys at the office, so when we returned, I didn't notice them missing until I was ready to go home. I looked high and low for them. My phone said the office was the last place they were seen, so me and my co-workers tore the place apart looking. Turns out, I'd left my keys at the place me and the boss had gone hours earlier. My phone and the tile were together at that place, so that's where it should've remembered it last. Really disappointed. It's hit or miss. I doubt I re-up it when it's time.

I ordered 4 tiles directly from tileapp.com. I got them a week ago and it was quite easy to set them up. I check every now and then to make sure they work. As I type this review, I am at an airport and three of my tiles are with me. The app on my phone agrees with two of them, but is telling me that the last known location of the one on my key ring is 20 miles away five hours ago. But it's in my pocket. I tried refreshing and closing/repoening the app on my phone, but it didn't help. So I proceeded to add it again as if it were a new tile. Now it correctly shows as being within 100 feet as it should. This is disturbing because if I didn't happen to check on it, and then actually did misplace my keys now or in the future, the tile would have be useless.

I was perfectly satisfied with the Tile product performance. Bought mine in a four pack at Best Buy. Great for misplaced keys, the "community location" feature is a good system, but depends on continued market growth to remain viable. However, I'm just not sold on the requirement that I buy new Tiles every year. I've moved to another Bluetooth locator product with s replaceable battery.

Im ordering this new version. version one lasted a year but died on the app before it actually died...ie programed life span. if i had time id make my own. the battery is totally replacable but you cant get to it with out destroying the case. this is the sort of profit mongering that i hate but alas im forgetful. if v2 dies as quick as some claim ill report it as fraud to cc company to get my money back.

I enjoy the way it works however it often stops working if you’re not close enough to Bluetooth so if your electricity is down for example you will not be able to use any of the features if you go to another location and lose your purse again you are unable to use the finder. I put one on my cat and when my cat goes outside I can track her for up to 1000 feet she often goes much further

This product is great for finding your keys in your home but if you plan on using it to track your lost dog, DONT! The only way it will alert you to its location is if the dog passes by another tile device. and good luck with that. So for people looking to use this for that purpose, I prey to you use a actual gps dog tracker.

Without fail the tile on my keys only lasts 4 or so months and then gives out. I'm not particularly rough on my keys, nor have they gotten noticeably wet. It's happened twice, the first stopped working all together and the second would make the "searching" noise if I pressed the button but wouldn't connect to my phone. After the first I thought it might be a fluke because all of my other tiles worked perfectly fine, and the one on my mom's keys was working aswell. Maybe it's just bad luck since my mom's works still, but using it as a key finder has not worked out for me; which is sad, because I'm the poster child for loosing their keys in stupid places.

Excellent Bluetooth tracker for finding your keys. The app you install to your phone works reliably and has never failed me. I would give 5 stars except for the fact that you cannot replace a battery on this. Instead they make you buy another Tile each year for 50% off or so ($12) and you have to mail back your old one to them to be recycled... Also I've tried finding my phone with this...it very rarely works to get my phone to chirp when pressing the button to activate it
