I bought this to keep the humidity down in my apartment when not using the AC, or when it's terribly humid to compliment it. It can raise the indoor temp a few degrees in small areas, just so you know. It's really nice though when I'm not using heat or AC and need to remove moisture from my space, it's brilliant with that. I run mine on Smart Dry all the time, set to 35-40% humidity. The lights are rather bright at night. If you don't like that I place a spare red plastic lid over mind and gives it a wonderful glowing effect at night. No nightlight needed !

I live in the south and battle humidity all year round. I bought two of these units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Since the units are on wheels, it’s east enough to move around the house. I leave these running for 12 hours a day and the reservoir is usually half to 3/4 full. I never worry about spillage or leaks, and they’re quieter than other dehumidifiers I’ve had before. Bonus tip: if your unit vibrates loudly, just unscrew everything. The issue is usually an internal tube vibrating against another. Once unscrewed, you should see rubber casing covering some tubes. Shift the rubber up or down so that it sits between the tubes. Vibration and loud noises - gone!

Was using the older model for a month and then ordered this one, I am completely in love it’s pretty quiet and does an amazing job pulling the moisture from the air.

I don't know about energy efficiency, and honestly I could not care less. This thing keeps my camper bone dry. I pay the campground for electricity the same anyway. It has so far run without an issue.

Great unit. Very high tech. I love this manufacturer. I have another that is 20 years old and still going strong.

Water was running down the inside of the windows. Now it doesn't. I really like how it shuts itself off when the humidity drops to the set target.

Wow, with this hot and humid summer, I am emptying 20 pints a day from my basement. So easy to set up and use. It stops when the basket is full or you can run a drain line. I had other dehumidifiers that didn't last long. This is still going strong!!! Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)

For the price and the water consumption I would definitely recommend this to someone for a smaller room. Maybe a larger room if it isn’t 90% humidity where you live.

Doing a fantastic job of removing moisture from basement -can't use a hose to remove water. So we have to empty it 2X a day. But it's making a huge difference.

Works very well. We use it in our tiny bathroom to remove the moisture during a shower. (We can’t afford to install a vent)
