Not a full 42 pint water holder

It says it’s a 32 pint and I replaced my 32 pint. It holds half the volume of my older one. I wish I could send it back . It’s not what I wanted.

Packaging and Delivery

I cannot honestly review the product because the delivery was horrible. It was damaged when I received it and the box looks like it had been shipped and returned multiple times and destroyed. I had a Haier dehumidifier before and it was great.

Does not work

Runs for a few minutes, but then stops. I read the manual and it says to run nonstop for 24 hours at first. I tried but it still shuts off. In 3 days time, it has not collected one drop of water.

Really LOUD Rattling Noise

I may have gotten a bad one but just got it, set it up, and as soon as the compressor comes on it rattles so loud I can’t be in the same room while it’s going. I can tell it’s the left side panel with the hose hookup. When I push I’m it, it quiets down, The material is very thin and flimsy so not surprised it’s not aligned right and rattles. Don’t see how to get any product support in case this is a simple fix. No mention of this issue in the owner’s manual either. It’s super heavy and will be a real pain to return, so could use some help from manufacturer or anyone who has had this issue.

Yet another ho-hum generic cheapie

These off-shore dehumidifiers are all pretty much the same. They might work well for 2 years if you are lucky but 1 season is more the norm. This dehumidifier is underwhelming in its performance, barely removing a cup of water at 55% RH and 75 degrees in 24 hours. Rather than waiting for it to die in one year, and paying close to $30 to have it properly recycled, back it went. The best bet is to buy a much bigger unit than you think you'll need and definitely get the extended warranty. Just don't have your hopes up for finding a "sleeper" in this lot. As I said, they are all pretty much the same and all pretty marginal.
