It is working well right now.

The media could not be loaded. Got 2 dehumidifiers. The smaller one for 20 pints making a suspicious pretty loud noise right out of the box. I guess it is a beginning of the future troubles.

Have to empty every 10 hours in an air-conditioned house but can keep thermostat up a couple of degrees higher due to lower humidity at night. It only changes the humidity 5 percent lower in a 1200 sq ft area. I have a well sealed well insulated house. Would I buy it again. Probably not !

Don't even thinking about running this in a bedroom. The noise level is comparable to something that was built in the 1970s for basement use. I recently purchased another brand for just $40 or so more and almost can't believe how much quieter it is.
