Could be awesome, but having issues within the first 2 weeks.

Seems like a fun and durable toy. At first try, it seems to be made well and the wheels seem durable. We have had some issues though and it's only been 2 weeks since he received the item for Christmas. The battery will not have a full charge even after being plugged up for 24 hours. It has also been repeating "Power On" for several minutes after you begin to ride it. Hopefully, Target will allow an exchange of some sort.

Does not go 12 mph

Box clearly states that the hover board can reach max speeds of up to 12mph. I downloaded the app and tried to adjust it to maximum speeds and it automatically reverts to 9 mph instead of 12mph. The other issue we are having is my husband and I get on it to ride it the hover board creeks but we are well below the max weight of 220lbs.

Won’t charge

Won’t charge. Used it 1 time, started beeping that it’s low battery. Will not charge with charger that came with it. Payed $300 at Target, only used it 1 time

Waste of money.

My son got it for Christmas and it lasted for about an hour of trying to figure out how to balance on it. Then it beeped low battery and died shortly after. We plugged it in for about 3 hours. It would not turn on. So my husband took the covers off to find the wiring was incorrect for the charging port. He checked the voltage with a volt meter and re-wired it with the help of my 8 year old son. (Good learning opportunity, if anything) put it all back together and charged for another 2 hours. Still would not turn on. So his only gift from Santa didn’t work. Had to return it the day after Christmas and buy something different because this was a total let down. Do not buy. I just feel lucky it did this the first day because I would be upset if it was too late to return it.

Won't Charge

Unfortunately I've had this for quite a while due to my daughter not being able to ride the hoverboard. She just learned and finally depleted the battery. Now it doesn't charge and it's way too late to return :( I've tried purchasing 2 more chargers but still nothing.

Would not recommend

Glitches and has never worked well since purchased. Huge waste of money, returns only to target store which just so happens to be 90 miles away, so just put $155. This item was a complete waste of money, sits brand new in a closet, because it was terrible quality

Broken on arrival

We received the Hoover board a couple days ago and yesterday charged it up “, and although it lights up, it wont work/move. Would be down to change the rating once I get one that actually works.

Worst Purchase Ever

We have 3 of these and 2/3 stopped working within a few months. The company said they’d fix them. Then like a month goes by and they’re like nevermind, we don’t have the parts and we’re never going to get them so you’re out of luck. Spend the money and get a quality brand.
