I decided I wanted to try out a Hoover board, I had always been curious about them and I knew my significant other would be super excited to ride one so when I saw this one it looked so cool I could pass it up. Honestly I got this for the lights and the wheels, because it looked like it would do well over cracks and bumps since the wheels were pretty large but I had no idea that this had an app to go along with it to make this HoverBoard really customizable. To start off, I have really poor balance so it did take a minutes to learn to relax while riding this, but the plus about this hoverboard is with the app you can change the speeds (it goes up to 12mph) to make sure it doesn’t go to fast if your learning and it gives you time to build up the speed instead on getting on and it shooting up to a fasts speed. Over all this did pretty great on side walks and streets and getting over bumps but I did find that if you leaned a little too far forward it would scrap a bit on the ground because they top is pretty wide, which helps a lot with the balance. Looks wise this is so cool, the wheels have an almost mirror effect so the color spins on the inside and the front and back light different colors giving it almost like rave light that is super fun and with the app you can change the colors to colors you like. My favorite part of the hoverboard, which I didn’t even know was a feature until I saw the box, is that this actually has a Bluetooth speaker on the bottom so you can play you music while riding, and honestly for something that is moving around the sounds is really good and it can get pretty loud which I was shocked by. We have taken this to a few car meets and shows to show off and honestly this things is so cool and we love showing it off and riding around and everyone seems to be equally impressed with how cool it is too. I hope someone or at least a few people find this review useful. I am a beginner to riding on hoverboards. I’ve owned bicycles, roller blades, roller skates, scooters, pogo sticks....you get idea. I have to say hoverboards are exciting to master. There is sort of a rush to get on and then finally make it move without falling off and looking like a YouTube Fail video. My kids like it and so do I. Now for comparisons since I bought 4 different types. Segway Ninebot S Hover 1 Allstar Razor Hovertrax And this one 1.) The Jetson is one of my favorites and it is right up there with the Segway Ninebot S. It can handle uneven terrain and doesn’t jerk you around like the Razor one I picked up also. The speakers are not as good as the Hover 1 but it makes up for it with the light-show in the wheels. 2.) the ride is smooth but not as smooth as the Segway Ninebot. However, the fun factor is higher with the Jetson. The hoverboards overall are more fun because of the balancing aspect whereas the Segway appears to be more of an automatic feel. 3.) steering this is way easier than the Segway (knee steering is not my fav) but not easier than the Razor. The Hover 1 wasn’t too bad either it just has a little too much torque if that what you call it in these things. 4.) getting on and off is better on the Jetson than the Hover 1 and the Razor but not the Segway. The Hover 1 was the worst in this category. It kept flying around with thirst for my ankles. Try it and you will see what I mean. 5.) it’s on the heavier side. The Razor was the lightest out of the four. 6.) design. It’s beautiful. Best looking in my opinion and rides just as smooth as it looks. Not giving this five stars just because of the price. This was second in price to the Segway. The Razor was the least costly and it felt like in terms of casing materials. You get what you pay for with all of these items.

been a great hoverboard so far only thing is it makes a noise when my son stands on it and he is only a 120 pounds but highly recommend

Bought it for my five-year-old son has nice features that come along with the app my only issue is that it's advertised at 12 mile an hour top speed yet on the app it will not allow you to set it over 9mph and after notifying Jetson their response was 9-10mph is its top speed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hoverboard is a great toy and great gift to have when playing outside in the street. I love that it is actually much for safe then I expected. I would not recommend it for anyone under the age of 8. The lights on the side are really cool and I love that it stores well in the garage, doesn't take up too much space. This would be a great gift for a teen or anyone in your family who loves to cruise the neighborhood.

We love the hoverboard, but with no infrequent use, the charger had completely broken. How do we go about getting a new one?

Some of the lights stopped working. It doesnt stay charged very long. My kid will ride it for 10 minutes around the house and it'll beep for her to charge it.

I love that you can control the settings on this with the app, it’s amazing and my son loves his new hover board. We have transformed this into his hover kart and I couldn’t be more pleased with this product!!
