I wanted to love this can . 1st can stopped working in a couple of days lid issues . 2nd can received and after a week the lid will go up but not back down . Won’t be wasting my time sending it back for a 3rd time . The lid is flawed .

After two weeks the lid stopped closing. Tried a hard rest and still doesn’t work.

Even though having this for a year...Initially I bragged about owning this because why would you not? Anyway, I can't brag about it anymore because the first, second, third and fourth lid stopped working within a week. EVERY time the company responded with "we'll send you a replacement". So customer service works even though the lid doesn't, they TRY.I think they should try to fix the very issue that everyone has, the lid; it breaks in the closed position or (mostly) the open position.I wouldn't splurge on this if eye were you.The vacuum is a great feature, a little loud but it works, it's the lid that's the issue.

Set it up in early June and by July 27th the kid stopped closing. It was just stuck open. All troubleshooting tips did not help. This was very expensive for a garbage can and it’s insane that the lid is just stuck open. Again, we did all the things they tell you to do to “fix” this. I don’t recommend it.

( had a little water in it after wiping) came home to melted holes in the bottom of the can.it melted when not even plugged in. planning on throwing it away- unless the vendor will take it back.I obviously threw away the packaging last month when it seemed to be working fine

I was so excited for this trash can. When it came, it was easy to put together. I followed all the instructions. The lid stopped working and wouldn't close the same day I got it. I hard reset it like the instructions said. I hadn't even used it yet. It would not close. I emailed the manufacturer. It was a weekend so they wouldn't get back to me until 48 business hours later. I ended up returning it and getting a replacement, but it's been a month now and the order says it's not shipped yet. I can't cancel the order because then I won't get my money back. Big disappointment. I was so excited for the vacuum part which seemed to work fine but I wasn't going to keep such an expensive item if it wasn't fully working. The people emailed me back and said they would replace it under the warranty but I had already returned it to Amazon and ordered a replacement. All of which I have not received.

First one revived as Christmas gift and the vac began smelling like it was burning and then the lid quit working sounded like it was slipping on gears when trying to open. We then purchased another one and the lid simply would not open more than 2 inches within sixty days. Reached out to seller with no response. Reached out to seller a second time no answer to date. Will not be buying another one poly built and won’t last.

I’ve had this trash can for a little over a week… there has not been a day where it didn’t start malfunctioning or breaks w the slightest issue. I’ve tried resetting and even had an engineer friend of mine come by and fix it a few times already. Bought a replacement on the third day… WASTED TIME AND MONEY

Should have listened to other reviews. The lid doesn’t close. Have had it for less than 24 hours and am going to return
