The media could not be loaded. I thought these would be great to handle meats for shredding it after cooking. But they’re made out of cotton. Only the white part is rubber. I thought the whole glove would be made out of rubber. They might be good as an oven gloves but I’m not sure I would handle meat with it

If you need to take a pan from the oven to the counter these work well, but you can definitely feel heat coming through them.

Yes, these gloves will allow you to reach into your oven or grill and pull out that casserole/steak, but they are almost comically big, so I felt like even when I knew I was gripping the baking pan, I wasn't sure because there is too much material on each finger. Sure, I have smallish girl hands, but this was supposed to be the one-size fits all (fact, it will even fit Goliath's paws. I will say, because they were so big, the wrist covering went up to my mid-forearm, so unless I'm climbing into my oven, I'm safe from accidental burns. Of course, due to their size, I tend to not reach for them, which negates the whole purpose.

Do you know what? I read a bunch of reviews to try to replace my Ove glove. I can feel the heat radiating off pans that I take out of the oven. Such a shame, but they are very thick and usable but you can still feel the heat.

So, they work... but... other than using them as "hot pads" shaped like gloves... these things are pretty useless. They collect grease and dirt, they hold out the heat as long as it isn't too hot, and they have that non-stick little rubber things on them, but they're huge, bulky, hard to wear and hard to maneuver in. I am not in love with them at all.
