I bought two of these the first time and the one that had a plastic cover with no screw is junk. Must have been an old model because the other one had a metal back and screw to lock it in place. I bought another one this year and kept it because it was the metal back with screw. No problems with that one either. That other pos keeps malfunctioning since I got it. It was acting up in the beginning but when changed batteries and messed with it, worked fine for a few weeks then started acting up again. Not working as of right now.

Just received and installed (sorta). We could only get 3 of the 4 screws in the prefilled holes. The third screw would not go in. The hole was not drilled properly. So we are hoping that just the three screws will hold it. The mechanism seems to be working as expected. It was easy to setup the pass code to unlock.

The electric connector that runs between the front and back components is not solid. I had 3 operating failures because of the faulty connection. I used electrical tape to secure and is working for now.

When it's cold your hand just slides around, you have ro take your glove off and wet your hand. Frustrating, I may replace it.

overall it does what it needs to but time from time it always glitches and say the correct password is incorrect, and it starts making the most annoying sound in the world.

Warning! Has a tendency to lock you IN. Make sure you have a second exit and take the key with you to unlock this lock from the outside. Nice design but not reliable. Could be dangerous if it's the only way out when it jams and you can't unlock the door. Be prepared.

Once I found a video on YouTube lol it then became easier to install. Fair warning I have never installed a door lock before. But it didn’t fit with the latch that was on the exist door. Ik they provide its own latch but I couldn’t change it, it was too big. Though the device it self worked as in, turn on. The button to lock and unlock DIDNT work but lit up blue. The button to make all the buttons blue didn’t work. The auto lock on the other side didn’t work and yes it was flicked on after I did the pin set up.

Overall, like this doorknob… but expected the keyboard to light up when pressing any of the numbers on the keypad, if the porch light near this door is off. You have to press a button at the top on doorknob keypad for the keypad numbers to light up.

I like how easy it was to install however one of the two screw holes stripped and I barely tightened it. The lock gets stuck from time to time. But overall easy to install and does the job

Even with good batteries, the lock has its issues locking, and trying to input the code works when it wants to. Luckily this comes with a key.
