I purchased three of these in 2018 they all came with a Schlage type lock. I had them re-keyed so they're all keyed the same. Then I ordered another one exact same part number and everything and it came with a different type of lock a Kwikset. If they were going to change the key they should have changed the part number. I have tried to contact them on several occasions they have never return an answer to my emails. Now I am stuck with two different type of locks that I cannot key the same. The only option I have is to buy all new handles. This is not acceptable.

Door knob only lasted 8 months. The electric lock portion is no longer viable. It will not electrically lock or unlock at all. To stop it from error beeping I had to pull the batteries. Key still works. Prior to it's failure, it worked ok. From time to time the internal mechanism would jam up and would need to use the key to force it unlocked. Guessing whatever was causing this jam is partial to blame for the failure.

This is a great value and works well. Easy to install. Where it gets quirky is that when you enter the room and close the door behind you, it automatically locks you in the room. You have to unlock the handle to get out. Ones that I have used in the past simply allow the person inside to exit. Follow up: After a few months it stopped working. I will be buying a better quality lock this time.

I have a house full of family and sometimes alot of things would go missing from my room so I wanted a door lock that I didn't need a key for all the time and this product worked good, when it wanted to but there where too many time that the auto lock wouldn't lock or unlock so I return it

I have been a Prime member of Amazon for about 4 years. Some times you run across products that just aren’t good. I like the design of this lock. The key and keypad features are great. I don’t like that after 30 days this lock has failed. I’ve replaced batteries, reset the lock, put in new codes. This lock will not lock or unlock electronically. Every time I press the lock or unlock button, the lock flashes red and gives a coded series of beeps. I have left a warranty closing with the MI Locks. They haven’t responded yet. They don’t answer the phone, NEVER! You will only get voicemail asking you to troubleshoot on your own of file a claim. Not reassuring that the only thing they can say is , you must be calling because it’s broken!” I will never buy MI Locks again.

So this is definitely chinsy construction. I would never use this for something I actually cared about. I've got it on a door I don't want left completely open but also want to get to easily. I wouldn't use this for an entrance door ever. The mounting hardware is garbage and I had to rig it a little to actually get it installed. Buttons don't always register when you push them but it works for now.

The media could not be loaded. It locks the door but I think it’s defective. The locking latch doesn’t extend all the way and to open the door, must be turned clockwise from the outside and counter clockwise from the inside. I bought a chisel to make the latch fit, otherwise the door would not close. It’s pretty sturdy so it could be a good lock but I think mine is defective.A little disappointed.
