Be prepared to modify your deadlatch hole, 1/4" chisel and hammer. Reason why 1/4" chisel is for you not to over do it. Once that's modified, the rest is easy, 10 minutes install.

Got this as a lightning deal. My brother installed it. It was too close to the dead bolt on the inside so he had to flip that side down (holds the batteries) and the number side up on the outside. It works. No more calls because of lost keys, hurrying home on rainy days to let someone in. I would have preferred brushed copper but it's on a rear door anyway.

Had it for a year and now if I lock the door it won’t unlock

Works amazing. I have never had any issues. I installed in my bedroom by myself very easy instructions. I have had about six months. Haven't had to change battery yet works great. Will recommend and will buy again.
