For the price not a bad knob set. It has a few quirks but nothing too serious. The mounting bracket for the inside half of the knob didn’t fit very flush and took a little bending. And sometimes when using the lock button it causes the lock to bind up and won’t unlock with the code. The key has to be used to get it unlocked. The more it has been used the less this seems to happen. Would be pretty annoying if this was a door I locked every day but it’s on a closet so not a big issue. Definitely don’t see this lasting on a heavily used door. For that I would go with a better quality set. On the upside it is very simple to add and delete codes on. And install was simple and the finish is better then I expected.

Inside knob VERY cheep looking, outside is fine

The lock was pretty simple to install and program. Twice I have not been locked out of my office. Today I had to use the key to enter and tested the two codes with the door open and closed. The codes worked without incident; however, when I returned from lunch the keypad again did not work. The instructions advise to keep a key on you but I assumed in case the batteries die. The lock and brand new batteries were installed a week ago so the batteries should not be an issue.

I've went thru 2 of these barely over a year. Inner mechanisms broke on both, different parts. If used for outside garage temperature extremes drain batteries fast. Spent extra for name brand and much happier now

Came with a wrong mount plate. I needed to drill holes to match the front module. Consider buying a different brand.

So I installed this on my bedroom door. This may not have been for a bedroom door but i installed it anyway the set up wasn’t to bad took a while but was easy to manage. The only real issue I have is sometimes the lock that clicks in and out will get stuck. It doesn’t lock me in or out of the room thankfully but it’s finicky. Sometimes after opening the door the lock just stays in and doesn’t pop out like it normally should so I have to jiggle it to make it stay out to close the door and lock it. I’ve tried fixing it with a. screwdriver to maybe adjust the whole door knob so that it would keep popping out but it wouldnt work. I’m going to still keep and use the product. Overall it’s nice concept and has helped but just wish it wasn’t as poorly constructed. I should’ve read the reviews before buying but maybe with time it’ll work better.

Its good for indoor use, I like the auto lock functionality. I dont like that I had to replace the batteries every three days and the handle seems a little flimsy meaning the it does not set tight even though I made sure to tighten everything really well . I am going to return it and try a different lock

The inside plate for the door knob is made of metal covered plastic and looks cheaply made. Installation was easy. Setting the unlock combination was easy. The lock has an "auto lock" choice which will automatically lock the door knob about 20 seconds after it's been unlocked which is nice. When the inside doorknob is pulled to open the door the inside door plate which secures the knob to the door, flexes. The flexing gives me the impression that my child and the other children will be ripping the knob off of the inside of the door. The knob plate on the outside of the door is thin and looks like it could probably be peeled off of the door with a screwdriver and minimal effort. I will keep and use this knob temporarily but I will find a higher quality, made of metal replacement.

The build quality isn’t the best, but it will do the job. The motor was unable to turn the locking shaft all the way from locked to unlocked when I first installed it. It would lock, and entering the code and pressing unlock turned the motor, but not far enough - it was still locked. It seemed to struggle, so I removed the metal panel on the inside by the motor/gears and noticed the lock mechanism worked better, easier. Put it back on the door and poof… issue resolved. Works great now.
