We got this for our pantry to keep our special needs child from rummaging through it in the middle of the night. The lock itself functions exactly as it should and was easy to install. There is also an alarm of sorts and it will beep incessantly for about a minute if the wrong code is entered too many times. The only real issue that we have encountered so far is that it is a bit louder than expected when it locks. That being said, it is not excessively loud and is a good value for the money.

Lock works fine but the interior knob is short and can be difficult to grip if your older.

Not as easy to install as portrayed! I had to modify the door so it could fit. It works, but I ddint; need the extra work, time, and effort.

I had to use a hammer to affix the pin pad and the front knob... Other than that installation was seamless. Door handle works well so far. The back door knob is shorter than expected. But works just fine.

I would have rated this product with complete 5 stars but I ran into a minor issue during installation. At first, the device would not completely unlock - i.e. turn the inner lock knob far enough to unlock. I discovered that the "inside bracket" was tightened too firmly and must have been causing some kind of interference with the lock mechanism. After relieving some of the torque on the screws, the locked worked just as advertised. I'm very pleased with the operation thus far - only been a few days - and it is a much cheaper solution than some of the big name lock offerings. I used it on a man door of a garage so i wasn't too concerned about aesthetics. I would recommend this product.
