I haven't installed this software so I cannot give you a true evaluation of the product. However, when and if I do install this software I will come back and give a true evaluation of the software.

I brought this software for a trip to China. Downloaded before I left and couldn't tell if it would work. When I arrived, the connection didn't work. After searching online on solutions, I got the PC version working, not the phones. Contacted customer service of NordVPN via chat, I was sent a "test" version of update and the connection worked. The customer service is quite good.

Although the product does provide anonymity while browsing online, it does not come without difficulty. There are numerous websites which block you completely when the VPN is enabled forcing you ton it off before you can proceed to the website you want to go to. I am unable to view the contact information on craigslist items while the VPN is enabled and I am unable to print to my network printer or access files on my other network computers when it is enabled. Bottom line is, if I enable it on 6 devices, none of them can talk to each other over the network and my ISP can still see and sell my browsing history during the times I am forced to disable the VPN to reach the sites Which I cannot view otherwise. Another problem that continues to occur, is that at times the VPN seems to loose all access to internet resources and has to be disabled and then enabled again to resolve the problem. In my opinion, this package should sell for about 50% of what I had to pay for it since it only works about 50% of the time.

The product over all is excellent for protection and security. My biggest issue is I put it on my Lynksis WRT32X gaming router with uoad speds above 150 and the same with download speeds . When NORDVPN came online my speeds were 54 up and 53 down. I am paying a lot of money for my SPEED and by the way the LYNKSIS WRT 32X is a gaming router WTF. I chatted with tech support they they stated that becuse my router only had one processor it would slow down. He'll it slowed down my upload speed to my LG 40K android to 0 yes zero.

So I've had to use company VPN's before and when you do everything becomes a little cluggey..... Websites render very slowly, some won't work at all and in general it seems like something is wrong with your computer. Well, guess what????? Same thing with this VPN. Its highly rated and all that but it does have an impact on speed and productivity.I bought this so I could select the USA when traveling abroad and still listen to my Pandora stations and perhaps watch my Netflix etc. I will be giving this a go late August early September 2023 and will update this review with the findings.Overall, I leave it turned off while at home (albeit still slows things down) so I can surf normally.

Before purchasing this product, research its compatibility to the security software that you are currently using.

Worked fine except for NORD didn't play nice with Authy my authenticator app. I purchased a new PC& a few days ago now I'm totally locked out of NORD even after changing PW etc. along with at least 10 emails to support. This purchase was good for 6 PC's and since I just purchased a PC this is only #2 of the 6. L@@k at the cover for yourself. My biggest problem was it didn't work with Authy even though it was listed as compatible.

I bought this so I could watch my subscription to MLB without blackouts. I was told by the girl from Nord that this would work. It did not. When I called back days later I was told by another Nord employee that it would never work for that use because of the Smart DNS. It was a waste of money.

Every time I try login to my bank it is block. Need to disconnect to get access

In the past, I have used other VPNs while in Europe to access programs in the USA that were otherwise inaccessable. I assumed Nordvpn would be the same. It was for some websites, but when I tried to access my Amazon Prime account, Amazon denied me service, saying " we see you are using a VPN". Then they restricted me to a few useless programs "for those who are abroad". Beware.
