BUYER BEWARE! According to an Osmo representative, Amazon has stopped supporting the Fire 7(9th Gen) and Osmo apps are no longer available to download, or already downloaded apps may not work as expected.I was told this and purchased the latest Kindle since it was supposed to work with Osmo, only to find out that the apps still don’t work & aren’t compatible. Whether this is an Amazon issue or an Osmo issue is irrelevant. It feels dishonest that they are advertising products that don’t work. Very disappointed

If I could give it 0 stars I would worst experience I have ever had trying to set up a game I didn’t think to look at reviews since the game looked neat , no where could I find a proper video to install the game also why is it even so much steps to a kids game so disappointed bought for Christmas for my son since it required so many steps I kept holding it off to put it on my sons tablet , now Feb .3 tried to do it but it was so confusing if I could have noticed sooner I would have gotten my money back !! Don’t waste your time parents especially for something at this price

I spent an hour downloading and sharing apps for 5 kits I bought including this one. When I finally was ready to install it asks if I have the plain reflector or the 2021 model with a screw. Mine had no screw so I selected the first option. Then I get asked if I have the orange reflector, which I don't and there is no option to go back or choose no. I chose yes because it was the only thing I could do. Now the app crashes and there is no way to access the settings. How can you be so incompetent to present a customer with a choice that leads to being locked in to failure. Is the reflector that is included the fire reflector without any screw? If so why don't you show that. You left me and my kids frustrated on Xmas due to an utterly incompetent UX design. I don't even know how to wipe all data from the tablet so I can try the other option that doesn't even match what my hardware looks like.

We bought this model for my daughter, who loves drawing with the osmo app. However, once we installed it on her iPad we found out that the red mirror included is an outdated model and would not work with the set. We had to go to their website, where they would not permit us to spend 10$ to get a new mirror, but required us to buy the base with it as well. We ended up having to pay an additional $53.97 through their website just to use this product and the two bases are identical. So, basically, we spent $60 through Amazon just to get the dry erase board and some markers.A note on the stand and mirror: We have to take the whole iPad out of its case to be able to attach the mirror and have it fit in the stand properly. My daughter is very careful but this makes me nervous having the whole iPad out with only the screen protector on, as it would be expensive to replace the iPad if it fell and broke. The stand itself barely has a lip to hold the iPad in place. It needs a deeper groove to ensure falls aren’t a risk.If you want to buy the osmo set, I recommend doing it directly from their website so you can get the current model and not waste your money. I’m seeing reviews that these items aren’t returnable, so I’m not sure if we’ll be able to get any compensation for this product.
