Beware items may come used

Purchased item for a gift . When I opened it with my niece we noticed the marker pouch was dirty, IPad holder had marks on it. Since it was already given as a gift it’s hard to return. I tried to inquiry about partial credit or just a new marker bag and was denied.

Too difficult not interesting for child

Child wasn’t interested because the marker was not easily traceable with the lines. That is the lines we’re too difficult to trace accurately. As a parent I tried it out and I had difficulty. It’s very frustrating for a child learning letters and how to trace. Old fashion Tracing paper is much easier.

The only Osmo I regret buying - You shouldn't buy this. Complete waste of money.

I have three little kids and an embarrassing amount of Osmo kits, so just know we're huge Osmo fans and have way more of their stuff than anybody should in the first place. This is the first and only product from them I regret buying. What an absolute waste of money. I basically paid $62 for an extra base (that I didn't need since we have like five already) and a small dry erase board. We already had the app. My other kids use their dollar store white boards to play along. Basically - if you need the base then buy another kit for it and then get this free app and buy a $1 whiteboard from a dollar store with some markers. I can't believe I spent over $60 on this. It was a gift for my kid and he likes it, only reason I haven't sent it back.

Doesn't work well with iPad Pro.

The media could not be loaded.  First thing that is a bit off is that when you open the box, it doesn't have any paper instructions or anything, just written on the inside of the box to go to playosmos.com/getcreative and follow the instructions. But, when you go to that link it is just the store to sell you the exact item you are trying to figure out. There are no instructions at all. So, you have to figure out on your own to go to the Apple store to download compatible apps. Did that (I think). The problem I follow the onscreen instructions: put the iPad into the stand, attach the reflector thing, then it asks to put the drawing pad in front of the iPad and it never recognizes it with the Monster drawing app. I have an iPad Pro, which the description says is compatible. The Newton app does recognize the drawing pad, however, the pad only fill half of the screen on the iPad, so a lot of the items that are already filled in are off the drawing pad on the screen and on the table. Also, the sides of the drawing pad block the balls falling on the Newton app. So, I will have to go buy a larger dry erase board to make this compatible with the Osmo apps. So, when it says it is compatible with the iPad Pro, it actually isn't.

Misleading description for fire tablets

I bought this set months ago for my 6 y.o. daughter for Christmas. I was really excited to give it to her and she was just as excited to receive it. We downloaded the apps, made an account, etc. Come to find out IT NEEDS AN ADDITIONAL PIECE that has to be purchased separately to work on fire tables even though the description makes it sound like if you buy this kit you're all set. WRONG. Very annoyed this isn't made more clear. Needless to say I have a disappointed little girl.
