Versatile blender

The attachments are a great addition to the blender. It does come with some type of storage piece but did not hold all the attachements . It is definitely useable and does the job we ordered it for

Decent power and nice set of accessories

This immersion blender is fairly powerful and comes with a nice variety of attachments, including a frother, a whisk, and a food chopper (that does basic food processing). The main feature, of course, is the very capable immersion blender. It's small (and shart) and can be used pretty much anywhere, such as in soups (even while cooking) or mixing ingredients in smaller containers. Between the blade and the whisk, recipes come together quickly. They thought of most everything with this blender and it's accessories. Its reasonably well made and has decent power. Definitely usable.. Wish it would have included some means of storage.

a versatile immersion blender

The Chefx immersion blender is powerful and comes with a variety of attachments enabling it to replace several devices. The chopper bowl is handy if you do not need the other options which a full sized food processor provides (slicing shredding). The blender attachment has steel covering which prevents injury, or at least makes it a good deal less likely. The whisk is the part which I personally use the most. There is also a milk frother which I honestly did not try because I never use them. (My daughter, however, bought a little milk frother which she would not have needed if she had this set).I am puzzled by the 5 in one statement, made more than once on the packaging and in the description. The fifth accessory is a flask or large cup. It does not provide a fifth operation. It just provides an alternative to using a bowl, pot or one of your own cups. The little chopper worked well, quickly pureeing some fruit, both fresh and frozen, which I was going to use in a smoothie. I whipped some yogurt and honey and stirred them together. The result was just about as good as a blender. (It was not as smooth as the more powerful blenders). The point of an immersion blender, however, is the ability to use it almost anywhere: the puree a soup while it is cooking, for example. I also like to be able to whip cream or eggs without a mixer, especially if I am only making a small amount. It is good for all of those things, but really, not as good as other immersion blenders I have had. *My daughter took my last one, commenting that I would never use it). Well, I did not for a long time because of a review I read which detailed serious injury someone suffered using an immersion blender. That was, however, before the blade was covered in a steel wrap. It does seem to be pretty common now. Still, be careful! Those blades are sharp, and fast.I rated this 4 stars because, though powerful, there was some wobble in the whisk, which is not a good thing. It is also not the build quality of others I have had, does not put away as well (there is no caddy or bag for it) and, it costs just as much.I may wind up getting myself yet another immersion blender, because I would be a lot happier if the whisk did not wobble.I also liked the variable control on the Dash better.

A good value so far.

We have only had this immersion blender for a very short time so haven't really had a chance to use it much. Used it to make salsa and my husband was very pleased with the result; it chopped everything very finely. We bought this immersion blender to replace one we purchased about 8 years ago. It worked very well so we took it to Costa Rica where we spend about 3 months a year so we would have one when we return. I only hope this one performs and lasts as well.
