After I tested one of two batteries I noticed a “bad” label on it. Maybe the factory workers got blinded by the bright yellow color and couldn’t read the label. In retrospect, Dewalt is still a quality product. The other battery works just fine.

I am very disappointed in these 6 ah batteries. I have an entire system of Dewalt from 2 ah to 5 ah batteries (and now these 6 ah batteries. They simply do not charge properly. It is almost like a 2 to 3 step process to get them to full charge. I have two chargers (heavy duty and standard). Both batteries in both chargers when the batteries are cool will only go up one step (to the 2 bar level) the first go around. This is NOT what I signed up for. You want to put a battery on the charger and have it come out fully charged. Not babysit the thing. My other batteries work perfectly. Maybe I'll contact Dewalt, but they're not the easiest to get a hold of . . . Missed the return window. Kept hoping it was just a conditioning thing, but it wasn't. Anyway, I cannot recommend these batteries even though most of us like that extra juice.

Battery life very very bad. They replaced the first set because I threat to send the series number to dewalt to check if they are original. Super dissapointed with the batteries. Im not sure the batteries are dewalt. The design and fit is similar to the originals

50/50 success here. The price was great until I factor in only 1 battery still working. Both seemed to perform correctly when first received. Within 1 month 1 battery would only register 2 bars instead of 3 and would die quickly in any tool. Now even using the new 4 bay charger with fans it shows fully charged very quickly but can't run a saw for more than a minute :( I will call Dewalt and try to discuss warranty replacement. All batteries are kept away from extreme heat, cold, and out of rain. I have maybe 14 batteries ranging from 2 a/h-6 a/h and this is the first time i've had a bad battery new or go bad in less than a year or two. I'd still recommend this for the price but hopefully I just got a defective one and it can be remedied by warranty.
