It didn't matter how long I let these sit on the charger, they refused to take a charge. 1 LED is all I could get from them and they died very quickly. I promptly returned them.

Thus was the wrong fit for what I needed

Both batteries have failed from a two pack. Battery #1 died while edging a short 5 or 6 feet of a previously edged walk. Battery #2 died on first use after 4 screws placed to mount on mailbox base.

Both batteries purchased worked a month fine, but did not hold charge after that. Different types of chargers were used to try to charge batteries but, did not charge them. The service center was contacted, and required pictures, email, etc to get them replaced. These batteries were only several months old & did not satisfy my handiman work . For me, to much hassel to try to get defective merchandise replaced by Dewalt. I went to local service center and purchased Milwaukee tools for my Handiman Business. Hoping to sell my Dewalt tools on-line.

Batteries arrived on time and in good physical shape. They arrive with approx. 1/3rd of a full charge per my normal experience with DeWalt 20vMax batteries, but regardless of which of my (3) DeWalt chargers I tried, they simply would not charge past 1/3rd full. I have (1) of these, and several smaller (5aH and smaller) - all charged/discharged/recharge fine on all of the chargers, so very confident the issue is tied to these specific units. Amazon replaced immediately and so far, the new ones seem to be charging OK. I will revisit my score once/if the new units do charge to full capacity.

Both Batteries are not charging to the 3rd bar, settling at 2 of 3 bars.... and are falling flat (discharging) very quickly... Help would be appreciated...

This is not a review of the actual DeWalt 6Ah batteries, they are excellent. I received 6Ah knockoffs in a DeWalt package, advertised and sold by the Warehouse as genuine DeWalt batteries. It was obvious when I opened the box—No "DeWalt" printed on the side of the batteries, "made in China" in small print. DeWalt batteries are assembled in the USA from Japanese-made cells. I hope a previous customer didn't scam Amazon by purchasing the real batteries, replacing them in the package with these knockoffs and returning them for the full price. Seems Amazon should've caught this. Be aware!

Terrible! I urgently needed batteries for some work I'm doing. I bought brand new batteries that will not take a charge. It has been known and fairly common defect according to a few hundred people on several forums. It wouldn't be so bad but Dewalt doesn't have a service center anywhere near Detroit anymore. Of 4 batteries I bought new, all 4 are duds and came with1/3 charge and won't recharge. Exchanged batteries with amazon got 4 more, only one of them will charge properly. No dewalt service station in michigan anymore...not happy with this product at all.

I purchased a two pack of 20V 6AH DeWalt batteries a couple months ago. One of the two batteries in the package has NEVER BEEN USED. And when I tried to use it, I found that it is deader than a canned sardine. It won’t take a charge, none of the indicator lights on the battery pack will light up, and the indicator lights on either my two DeWalt chargers don’t light up when the dead pack is inserted into the charger. Clearly a defective unit. I didn’t test or try to use the defective battery until the return period from the seller had elapsed. My bad. If you buy a DeWalt battery, test it as soon as it arrives, or take the risk that when you need it, it won’t work. As expensive as these are, it’s ridiculous that they are so unreliable.

Yo uso este tipo de baterías pero la verdad está compra no me agrado porque el precio no es muy bajo y el año de fabricación es del 2020, por lo que su durabilidad de carga no durará.
