Daughter loves it too

I have to say that IRobot is the way to go. We tried other vacumes before getting this one and there is a reason they are the number 1 robot vacume. The suction is great and with a dog with longer fur it does a terrific job at getting it all. You need to clean the rollers and the side swipe piece to get the hair out everry once in a while but they make it easy. The only thing I wish they would do is to allow more than one map to be saved for different rooms.

Love Roombas!! This is my second one and is better and quieter than my 5 year old one(Fiona). To me is a god send because I don’t like vacuuming it hurts my hands. My new Roomba’s name is Bella. Bella does a fantastic job in picking up all the cat hair and dirt I drag in from the garden. She runs for three hours every day except Sundays. She can send you texts if you allow it to tell you to empty her bin or tells you. I don’t see the necessity to order the self emptying one because you still have to empty that one too.

This one replaces one we bought a few years ago - the old one didn't have a mapping feature and basically hunted around in a random pattern. It took forever to work.This one has a smart mapping feature that is really effective - once the thing explores your house (takes about an hour or more) it creates a master map. After that you can program it from your cell phone and tell it what room to clean and when. It does a very good job of sweeping up, but you do need to pick up all the stuff on your floor before you start. The instructions are a bit sketchy but it was easy enough to figure out... well worth the money!

I like the map feature.

Easy to use and gets the job done. I do suggest to clear your house as much as possible of obstacles and furniture, appliances, etc., during the mapping process to get a more accurate map.

It does a great job cleaning my hardwood red oak floors. I like the suction and the easy to clean bin. Only issue is that I wish it could use the old Roomba Lighthouses that I used with my older Roomba. I don’t like to clean the entire house at one time. I prefer to do rooms separately or perhaps two rooms and a hallway. So I have to carry it from room to room and close doors or create obstacles. It also has issues finding home base if it didn’t start there. Otherwise I love my new Roomba!!

The media could not be loaded.  This is truly one of the best robot vacuums on the market! I know because I’ve tried them all! Very rarely encounters challenges that it cannot overcome. It is a bit aggressive. Use caution if you have light objects on the floor, such as breakable vases, etc. Suction sufficient enough to even pick up quarters dimes, nickels, and pennies! Easy to configure. I’m still trying to figure out how this amazing device is able to navigate and find its way home. It seems to actually think on its own! Very rarely encounters any obstacle that it can not overcome. Alexa friendly and you can even give this devil a name!

This Roomba model works well on hard surfaces (wood and tile). It picks up dog hair and dirt well.

It's great and super easy to control. It's not for heavy duty spaces. But great for manteonance. I have a cat that sheds a lot so it helps
