I love the booster power and the air compressor too

Bought in September and has already come in handy. My tires got low on air pressure and my local gas stations can never keep the damn air hose nozzle fixed so this worked like a charm. My tires were around 27 psi it took maybe 10 minutes to fill all of them up to 34 psi. It's already jumped started a vehicle of mine as well and charges up pretty quick. I'll be back with any updates.

Very handy unit to have along wherever you go. Both the jump starter and compressor have come to the rescue for us. The compressor simply screws onto your valve stem and you set the unit for the desired pressure and let it do it’s thing. Jump starter like any other non commercial units has one feature that can be undesirable. If your battery is stone dead, it doesn’t detect that the cables are connected properly and won’t turn on. Also if you want to use as a power source like to test a starter or anything 12 volt, this makes it useless.

This came in very useful for what I originally purchased if for. We had a power outage last night and I put this into action and was able to keep my CPAP running for a few hours until the power cam back on. I don't know how long it would have lasted but it did keep mine going for 2-3 hours until the power cam back on. Time to recharge it so it is ready for the next time I need it. We will be buying a 2nd one since my wife is now on a CPAP as well.

This product works great! But the truest test was when I forgot it was in the bed of my truck! Watched it falloff, hit the rv, then skid across the freeway while accelerating to 70 miles an hour! Thought it was destroyed! When I turned around to pick it up, it had just a little road rash but still works perfectly!! Schumacher definitely takes a licking but keeps on working! I just wish I had purchased the one with the higher boost rating! OUTSTANDING VALUE, OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!

I only used this once as an air compressor to fill the tires on my wheelchair, and although it worked fine to inflate them, when I went to unscrew the fitting from the valve stem a lot of the air escaped before I could get it off. Then I tried to fill them a second time, and when I sit the little piece inside broke and it wouldn’t depress the schrader valve inside the stem, because part of it broke off, so it wouldn’t inflate the tire. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that I could send it in to get a replacement, but I would have to pay the shipping, or they gave me the part number so I could just order the part myself from someone else. Since that was cheaper i opted to buy a different style of tire chuck on amazon instead that wouldn’t allow the air to escape upon disconnection.

I bought one of these from Walmart years ago, and it still works. I liked it and bought another from Amazon. This new one arrived unable to take a charge, and CANNOT BE RETURNED. Now I need to figure out how to return it because I am out $100, and it is a paperweight. It simply does not work. I've tried to charge it, as the instructions state. I know how these work because I've been using the same model for years. I will have to find a way to return the one that does not work. It really is too bad. The first one I purchased (from Walmart) was quite good. It's risky because if you get a lemon, returning it will be a bit of a pain.Update: Amazon is helping me with an exchange. If the new one works as well as the one I bought years ago, I will add more stars to the review. I was very happy with the older one.Update: Amazon replaced the item. The new one works as expected. I have taken it on a trip and it worked well. I am happy with the purchase.

Starts 5.3 liter GMC with no problem.Good compressor for pickup tires.Just recharge every month as per directions. I didn't and had to replace it after about 4 years. My bad.

I purchased this unit as a replacement for an older one whose battery was failing, which is to be expected after a number of years. This new unit has a strong battery, which easily started a vehicle with a V6 engine in cold temperatures (30's). It is more powerful and smaller than my old unit, and does not weigh more, and perhaps weighs a bit less. The auxiliary power ports ( USB, 12V) I found useful in the past, so having these was important to me.I much prefer using this for jump starting because it has a power switch for the battery cables and a reverse polarity indicator, which are good safety features, especially as compared to jump starting from another car. The power switch prevents sparking when connecting the cables to the battery, which can cause an explosion in some circumstances. My only initial disappointment was the short battery cable, which required that the unit be placed near the battery (the old one could be placed on the ground). It needs to be placed within a foot or so of the car battery. I do not see that this will create any problems on my current vehicles.
