Gauge is not accurate.

I bought the new air compressor/battery charger because the previous model worked great and is no longer working. This model had great reviews but don't measure up to the previous model. I bought previous model and this model mostly to keep my vehicles tire air pressure correct. If you wanted 32 psi of air, you could set the old compressor/battery charger to 32 psi and when it reached 32 psi of air, the compressor will stop. On the newer model, the gauge is the only way you could know when you reached 32 psi but the gauge is never correct. Its tough for a guy 70 years old to have to get down so low to the ground to read the gauge and when he does, the gauge is incorrect.

very disappointed

with the 200 watt feature AC, I thought this would give me some TV time at my hunting camp. It wouldn't even start up a 48 Watt TV. 6 watt light bulb worked fine. It was delivered end of Dec 2022 I just got a chance to use it last week. I had it charged up as directed.

Compressor Stinks

Shuts off after less than 5 minutes use. Thermal breaker? Who can pump up a tire 3 psi at a time and wait 10 minutes in between for it to cool off?

Must be constantly charged

It might be a good option if leaving the power pack in the garage and using it when needed but I bought it strictly to be used on my boat. I do not want a power pack/jumper box that i have to lug back and forth every time I go out on the boat. To be fair, it is left on my boat and I do not check it often but it hasn’t been sitting that long as i just bought it on 7/18/23 and did not put it on the boat immediately. I thought it would be similar to the NOCO battery pack I have in my car but is definitely is not.I went to jump start my neighbors boat today and saw the battery drained to 82%. Even at that percentage charged, it would not start a 150hp outboard motor. I had to use my NOCO Boost Plus from my car which has not been used in at least 6 months (stays in my car), not fully charged as I jumped a car previously but still had enough juice to do the job.The Schumacher is great for powering small items like phones, laptop, electric pumps etc but if that’s all I’m using it for, other power packs would be a better choice. Looks like I will have to check the battery pack weekly even when not in use but more than likely I will just get another NOCO and leave the Schumacher in the garage.
