Everything cooks at the same temperature. It doesn't matter what setting it's on. Slow cooking cooked at the highest temperature. It also retains smells. I made pulled chicken and it stunk like pulled chicken even after being washed. Returned it

Had the smaller model, that lasted about 2 years, bought another and again about after 2 years it stopped cooking the rice. Bought this $45 model, 1st try, took 3 times to cook the rice and it was still a little crunchy. Took it back and replaced with same model, but same thing, made Jasmine rice as usual, the timer peeped at about 10 minutes and it started counting the warm timer, and it looks just like the rice was added! AROMA, SEND THEM BACK TO CHINA AND HAVE THEM MADE HERE IS THE USA !!!!! The water was not even really warm, how is that supposed to cook rice???? if you can't fix a defective product, I think you need to look into your QC department and stop wasting our hard earned money!

The coating isn't listed anywhere. I assumed it was a new technology like ceramic or granite but it is Teflon. You get what you pay for. I purchased the aroma prpfessional rice cooker for $80 more. It has a ceramic pot and is super easy to clean. It was worth the extra $ to not worry about off gassing, scratching and flaking.

It broke down after 6 months. I am barely using it.

This model is absolutely terrible. This is coming from an islander that eats rice every single day. My finished rice was a soggy blob with every use. And the cooker sputters liquid through the top vent leaving a huge mess. The liquid sputters everywhere & cannot be contained. You're left with a pool of liquid on top of the cooker that must be cleaned before you could even open the lid. And you're also left with liquid splashed all over the cooker, cord, countertops and walls. I've followed the directions EXACTLY. I've even done the problem solving suggestions. To no avail. I've owned nothing but this brand of rice cooker & loved each previous model. But this model is a big nope!

This has been one of the worse rice cookers we’ve ever had. It shuts off without the rice being all the way cooked. And now the Teflon coating is peeling off and we’ve only had it for a little over 2 months, and only use a rice paddle to scoop the rice out.

Tried to cook 10 cups but it only stays on for about 11 minutes and starts to count down.
Broke within a year
It stopped working and didn’t even last a year
Disappointed
We Received The Item Broken

The liquid spreads out from the vent when cooking rice. Left a mess. Other functions are fine.
