Have had several hot roller sets- each of which was improved over previous model. Bought this model 2-3 mos ago to replace one that had case cracked in air travel. Liked the compact design but noticed rollers did not heat up well resulting in short-lived curls and hard to get rollers on and off set. Seemed not as well-made and effective as my previous sets....3 stars. THEN the other day, while set heating up looked over to see smoke comimg up from 3 heating coils closest to plug!!. Went to unplug set and saw rollers literally melting/ collapsing and noxious fumes coming from set. Rollers om other coils were still intact but extremely hot as was entire set. Wall outlet was fine. Defective product...scary!

Curlers way too hot!! Kept burning my fingers. Returning today!

I upgraded to the t studio pro hair thermaluxe taking my older set - h9000 set to my parents when I vacation. I have lots of hair & decided to get a 2nd unit. After seeing the reviews of the newer ionic sets, I'm buying a unit like my old set. love the claw type clips much better. They seem to hold tightly & dont slip like the pink clips.

I’d give zero stars if I could. My hair MELTED into the curler. I did NOT have any product in my hair that could have caused this. I’ve called reminington and requested reimbursement and for them to seriously look into their product and the faulty safety.

I have been using Remington hot rollers for years. Did not like this set at all. Clips are awkward & take forever to get in & out. Curls came out loose & did not hold. I like three sizes with hook type clips.

Very poorly designed. It was a struggle to get the hot rollers out of the tight columns they stacked on. I wanted to like them but had to return.

Doesn’t really get hot enough for my curly hair. Curls fell out after 15 minutes.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong they don't curl my hair I put then in and leave them while I do my makeup. I'm super sad

I just love this product. It works really works for me.
