No more waiting for an appliance to heat up. Plus the clips are heated but do not burn your fingers! I love this because it is compact, yet there are just enough curlers to curl your hair and be able to have a style you want. Ok I was skeptical about these and how they would curl my hair. I have totally straight hair and so far at the age of 44 I have yet to find something that would keep a curl. I used them twice before writing this review and I was surprised that it did not only curl my hair but kept it curly. So I do recommend this! It took me awhile to get the hang of this set,(this is also my very first time using a roller set) I'm horrible at following directions and this was a true test! The rollers warm up fast and putting them on isn't super hard (still perfecting my technique) I learned starting from the top is easier rather than the bottom. I left them on for 10 minutes and had great curls. The only thing I wish was that there were more! I had to improvise because I have soooo much hair! I love this hot roller set! It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and I love the plastic claws that hold the curlers in your hair. They are so incredibly easy to use, and they keep the curler in place better then other hot roller sets. This is the best one I have ever used. The curlers each have a soft, velvet type material on them, so they are soft on your hair, and not as hot to grab onto. The rim of the curlers are warm to the touch, but not hot, so it is easy to wrap these in your hair. Once they are in your hair, they don't burn your head if they touch your scalp. Within 5 minutes, my thin hair was curled and super cute! The case is compact, and really cool looking, as it sits on your bathroom counter. The curlers are stacked upright, so it sits more vertical than horizontal. This takes up a lot less counter space. If you are looking for a great hot roller set, then this is the one for you!
