Have been using this product since 1991! Two different refrigerators, but same filter type. Have had NO problems! Just need to read and follow directions!

We had just replaced our copper line with a plastic line. The smell and taste of plastic was awful. Got this filter the next day and put it in. Ran water and within 10 minutes the plastic taste disappeared. Works great. Easy install if you put it in and push till it clicks in place, Works perfect on my old 2012 side by side whirlpool.

This filter works perfectly and the water taste great. I’m scared over how ignorant some people are. The filter has to be installed correctly (as described in the instructions that comes with the filter) by using the filter cap mounted on the filter and rotating the filter in place. If you don’t use a product as specified, of course it will not work. Duh! This seems a common problem with product reviews. Idiots reviews are not thrown out, thereby lowering the product reviews.
