Long lasting

These filters seem to last so much longer than the other brands I’ve used in the past. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Tasting Water

For the last couple of years I have purchased the EDR3RXD2 filters from EveryDrop for a KitchenAid side by side refrigerator and couldn't be more pleased with the taste of the filtered water here in Texas. Our usage dictates replacing the filter every six months (filter percent remaining light used as a guide). Easy to install.Be sure to run a gallon of water through new filter to remove air in line and dispose of first couple of trays of ice.

#3

I feel I need to write a review about this product seeing that there are a lot of bad reviews. I’ll start off by saying I am a water snob. The only difference I can think of is that I purchased the filters through Every Drop’s website. Installation was just as explained in the video. Water flow is great and it tastes clean. Only complaint would be the flushing of 4 gallons after installation. Seems extreme. As of now I give it 2 thumbs up.

Works just fine!

Filters the water just fine in my Whirlpool refrigerator and now it tastes great! Just run about 4 gallons through the filter before the first use.

Trickle of water before and after replacing filter

I replaced my water filter after noticing I had a trickle of water out of my refrigerator water dispenser which the problem remained post filter replacement. I also noted that the ice was hollow. This is a direct indication of a lack of water from the filter and filter housing or water control valve. To troubleshoot and test, first cut off your water supply and disconnect the water line from your house (on refrigerator side only) and see if the house is the issue by temporarily turning on the water while holding the water line in a bucket. If not, meaning you have plenty of water pressure from your house/wall side, turn off your house wall water supply valve. Reconnect refrigerator water supply line. Locate and disconnect the water filter line to your water control valve assembly inlet side from the filter housing. Temporarily again turn on the water supply. If there is no water replace your refrigerator water filter housing assembly. This was my issue and it fixed my water supply. If there is water, replace your water control valve assembly. The solenoid on the valve is stuck closed, burned out, or the water control valve is clogged with calcium deposits. Before replacement make sure that you have voltage on the electrical plugs to the water control valve. This eliminates any electrical issues. Happy Days!

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product a month ago and so far I really like it. The convection oven works well and I like that it shortens cook times!

Water pressure problems - possible reason

Hello, I've read the flow problems mentioned in the comments below, and last year I too had this exact issue, and I wanted to share my experience in hopes it may help. Because we discovered the problem did NOT stem from the filters themselves. For us, exact same scenario mentioned by other customers - Water comes out as a trickle, removed filter and it works, installed new filters and regressed back to trickling, etc. We then felt it might not have to do with the filter, so we reported this to our home warranty company. The technician came to our home and inspected - he discovered we had a cracked filter housing. He ordered a new housing and installed, and everything worked fine. Even the old filter. We paid only our service fee, so I can't really advise on how much it would cost without a home warranty. Nevertheless, this might be something many of you will want to consider. We've had zero problems with the filters so far, so I'm giving the filters 5-stars. My only wish, outside of lower costs obviously, is that they lasted longer than 6 months. But as far as outright malfunctioning problems with the filters themselves, we've had none.
