It seemed to be more firm than my husband had hoped for under his legs. The back portion was great. Wished it wasn’t velour as it didn’t allow sliding down into the bed.

Perfect wedge set for anyone recovering from surgery or just relaxing. The storage bags seem sturdy and really helps save storage space.

Totally worth purchasing. Great quality and durable. Purchased after my hip replacement and I would purchase this item again. Love the fact that you have so many options and combinations.

Both my shoulders are messed up - one already a reverse total replacement (way less pain than before) and the other goes under the knife next week. The surgery definitely remedies the ongoing arthritic pain, but I still need a comfortable way to lounge in bed, even sleep when I get upper respiratory congestion. I bought several wedges over the years, but mostly they are much the same and none are really comfortable after 40 minutes or so. Forget sleeping on them. And all are narrow (20-21"), so both arms hang off unless I cross them on my torso [and duct tape them there]. This product is SO comfortable. I admit after a couple of days, I was a bit stymied as to where to stow all 4 pieces when not using them. However, those 4 pieces make this product so flexible and tailored to your needs and preference, minute by minute, day by day. The back support is 25" wide - my shoulders actually fit on it. Study the photos of the back support: the molded shape (which reminds me of my old Calculus text) lets you customize your sitting angles and degree of tilt from the mattress surface. The back wedge can also be placed in several ways to customize those options further. All surfaces of the back wedge are textured so it does not slip or slide after placement; same for the back surface of the back support. I really think the manufacturer needs to create a video (not a quickie 30-second one) that actually shows many of the alternative positions possible with just the back wedge and support. I actually looked online (to no avail) for at least a user guide recommending placements. I never used a knee wedge before this, but it is really an asset for napping. And the simple wedge that resembles a velveteen Lincoln Log is wonderful as a head/neck rest and also as a elevation aide for my yet-to-be-augmented upper arm and shoulder. If you like lounging in bed to watch TV, read, crochet, knit, etc. - the purchase of this wedge support system is well justified.

I liked the modular aspects and I use the pieces on the couch and the bed.

The Orthopedic Wedge set works great! I bought it for recovering from a tummy tuck. It can be place to resemble a recliner. I would of liked the paper work showing the different positions but taking a screenshot on the website worked too. Im curious if the space bags included are really going to compress the wedges for easy storing.. We shall see .

I bought this set when I was very sick, couldn't breathe laying down and those "back support pillows" you can get anywhere were just a joke. I searched high and low for a set of these just so I could try sleeping upright. I was also desperate for them to arrive ASAP. These checked every mark for me. When they arrived I let them puff up for about 2 hours because I was barely getting 3 hours of sleep. They're quite firm, but with the added pillow, they were perfect. Even now that I'm breathing better and can sleep laying down, I use them everyday to sit up in bed. They're perfect for reading, watching TV, crocheting, playing video games, etc. My current living situation has me unable to use the living room area, so this has been a huge help for my back. I couldn't recommend this enough.
